| I grew up in Crown Point, IN and graduated from Crown Point High School. Crown Point is a southeast suburb of Chicago that experiences all four seasons; hot humid summers, crisp cool falls, cold snowy winters, and stormy springs. In 1998 I moved to Greeley, CO to begin persuing a Bachelor's degree in meteorology at the University of Northern Colorado (working under Dr. Bruce Lee and Dr. Cathy Finley). I graduated from UNC in May 2002 and moved to Lubbock to begin graduate studies with the Texas Tech Atmospheric Science Group in the Fall of 2002. At Texas Tech I am a Lab Instructor for three undergraduate survey meteorology courses. I am interested in all types of weather, anything interesting and severe, from lake-effect snow to supercells. |
