Matt Comics
Backgrounds
Matt: Originally the first character in this comic who was named after a real life person, (only name, not personality..ect)  Matt is the most sensible character. Although he is no longer the main focus of most comics, and his design is a bit bland when compared to his new look alike comrads, his name still provides the base for the comic title.  (By the way, special thanks goes to "Matt" for whom Matt's named is derived from.)
Alika: Nope...he's not named after Alika W. Holding traits similar to Matt, Alika is a bit more arrogant, can be more mean, and is said to be a snappy dresser. Little brother to Toshiro and Toshiru, his name differs highly due to an interesting reason. Originally named Yogure, his name was closely linked to his older siblings. Over time the maeaning of yogure was revealed (meaning dirt) and his named was quickly changed, leading to Alika for one reason or another.
Toshiro: The most popular character, Toshiro is the older brother to Alika and his fraternal twin Toshiru. A bit of a crude, rude, arrogant, smug, selfish, evil, uncaring, ect...ect...ect, person, he does have a caring side...which he tries to hide. Well skilled at handling a katana, he really has no use for it.
Rickie Takushima/Demon boy: Why is Rickie a demonic being? The answer is quite simple. Originally, the characters were just Matt, Alika, and Toshiro with brief appearances by Marc, Matt's younger brother. As if it weren't obvious, these characters are all based on a highly similar design which may make the comic seem rather redundant. However, my friend, Ricky, really wanted to be a character, so I just drew Matt, and threw on different features from every character thus creating Rickie. The ideas of super natural demonic powers came from Ricky who wanted his character to be the "sepreme ultimate character". However, despite the pointed ears, fangs, more agressive attitude, and more "demonic eyes", there is really nothing  special about Rickie aside from the fact that he has a last name.
Marc: Often refered to as whelp, Marc finds it fun to insult and tease his older brother and friends. Often, he finds himself in many cnfrontations with Rickie or Toshiro.
Su/Janine: Striking fear into the hearts of every character including those who are not in this comic, Su and Janine have  become known as the overlords of the comics with the power of the "moosh". Derived from real people, these two have similar personality traits to their real life counter parts. Although most of their comics have not yet been shown in the Kaleo, there are no future plans to keep these two in the lineup.  However, they may be revived in a comic from a possible new cartoonist.
