| Dear West Richland, From the moment my wife and I arrived in the Tri-Cities, we knew that this was an ideal place to plant roots and raise a family. Here in West Richland, we have an amazing opportunity to build our community as we see fit which is why my wife and I have never considered raising our first child anywhere else in the Tri-Cities. However, with great opportunity comes great responsibility and during this critical period in West Richland's development, choices should be weighed carefully and always with the long term and the greater good in mind. The substantial growth this city has seen and will see in the future, demands that economic planning be at the forefront of our concerns. If we do this responsibly, we can still maintain our small-town values while strengthening our economic foundation. By exercising your right to vote, you are demonstrating your willingness to make a difference in our community. Together, we can continue to ensure that this difference is a positive one. We have already taken these first steps together: you are preparing to cast your vote and I am asking that you cast it for me. Sincerely, Matthew Bleich |
