To say that the children are our future is not to be cliche because there is just too much truth to this statement. We have three schools under our care in our community and we should give every effort to supporting their needs. My wife Nicole is a teacher at Kennewick High School and I couldn't be more proud of her. She goes to work everyday determined to make a positive impact on her students and she inspires me to do what I can to help the young people in our community. I have been mentoring college students for a few years now and I find it to be an extremely rewarding addition to my life. While it may not be a major issue in West Richland today, I certainly believe education and schools to be an integral part of West Richland's future and an important plank in my platform as a candidate for public office. |
