There are two obituaries here from the Star Newspaper.

Clara Trisdale RIP Mother of Joyce 58 Trisdale Johnson.

Jerry 50 Evans RIP.

I have the Jerry Evans Obit from when I was in Grand Coulee. I don't know anything about the reunion that the Class of 1950 held in August so
don't know if Jerry attended.

Bob and I talked about the Trisdales when I was in Grand Coulee and neither of us knew anything about them or Joyce. Bob just mailed me the article from The Star so here it is:
TWO OBITUARIES HERE
Subject: Center Lodge Motel

1. See the obituary on Clar Tresdale made me think of the motel.
When Geoge was building the new part I was a helper working on
what he needed done. I was a sophomore or junior in high school
and he paid me a dollar an hour [as I remember and that was good
wages at that time. When I got in the Army in 1960 2nd Lts were
paid $222.00 a month]

2. The reason that the "new" part of the motel is shaped like an
"L" is that George was going to put in a Swimming Pool in the back
of the "L", but that never got done.

3. I was the one who planted the grass in the back yard. Geoge
went the Rawe's and bought the grass seed and I spred it. I ran
out twice and he had to go buy more seed. I had never seeded a
lawn before and when it cam in boy was it think. I guess I over
seeded, but that's how you learn I guess.

4. The other thing I made sure of was that the bank between the
new part of the motel and the office was a rolling bank which it
still is so that a lawn mower would move smoothly over it.

5. Funny the things you mind remembers...Matt Tue, 6:46 AM 11/14/2000

10:30 am. I really thought that some Pachosas would email me to ask who the
people were in the 20 pictures of Bob and Jim's trip back East, but nobody so
far has asked. Any way in the home at picture one and two are Pauline and
Gerry Cousineau. The third guy in pictures 7, 8. 9. and 10 is Jan Nickodem.
Pauline and Jan are the kids of Genevieve shown in the 6 Jun 1920 picture
shown on page 28 Oct 00

Sping Hill, FL 34610

Hi Pat and Al,

Congradulations. I will always remember your wedding day because it happens to be my
birthday. Pat, I think you may have been to my 50th birthday party when the "Coast to
Coast" gang was here at my house for that occasion, too.

Sorry, but I won't be able to attend your reception due to a previous commitment, but
maybe we can get togeather for lunch some day when you two are down in this area on
some other ocassion.

This is a formal letter only so that I can keep you address and phone number where I can
find it. I find that if I don't have it on the computer I know not where it is.

I deal mostly with email now and have a "daily dairy" site on the web at:

http://www.geocities.com/mattbazaar

where anyone in the world can look at if they have the desire and know enough about a
computer to get there. I have started it for the 12 Pachosa's who do not have an email
address, but they still don't know about it or know how to get there. This was possible to
do four years ago, but I just learned myself by trial and error how to do it. Maybe I will
get the 12 Pachosas to be able to do this in a year, maybe.

                                                              Congrats again,

                                                              MATT PACHOSA

9:44 am...You can now go back and look at all the daily messages since 10 Oct if you
have a mind to. This is sort of a daily dairy of what I have been doing and it is
interesting to keep up with it. I have used a total of 2.3 M of byte storage and
have 12.7 M byte storage to go.

SAT, 11 NOV 2000, DAILY ENTRIES
It is 6:14 am and I am curious who is going to show up at the
Seminole Library four our "Click and Drag Club" session. I never
know what to plan for. Let me guess that there will be three
there besides me and I will let you know here later what the
count turned out to be. So far only two CDCers have send an
email birthday card to the two who happen to have a birtday today
but I expect everyone in the club to do it. Fruitless expectations
(Maybe I will learn something about the previous line if I leave
it in...) All for now until later today...Matt

***************************************************************************************
Well, I have known almost forever that the Library and Postoffice are closed on Holidays
and that the 11th of November is a Holiday, but I just didn't put the two together
this time. So I got 17 letters ready to mail and went to the post office which is
right next to the Seminole Library and was surprised to find it closed. Then I realized
the library was closed too, so I had two hour more allotted to me for this day. Maybe
I will learn something more when you come to think about it.

Below is email message to Rick Pachosa from John Clayton:

More good news, I hope. I've put together a follow-up item on
the murals that is scheduled to run on Nov. 20. I've also put
in a photo request that should produce a picture of the
veteran's rep. who is trying to set up the shelter, alongside
the ship-at-sea mural. Not sure if that photo will run on the
web, but when I get back from vacation on Nov. 27, get in touch
with me and I'll send you a hard copy of whatever runs. Please
relay this to Matt as well, if you would. John Clayton

Subject: Movie Men of Honor

1. I went to see cousin Steve Clark Pachosa's movie this
afternoon and I liked it. I was surprised that there were
125 people in the audience. They are talking like it is
an oscar contender.

2. Steve is the Navy Recruiter who tells Cuba Gooding, Jr
to get on the bus because he is "In the Navy!" A good part
for Steve. When I saw his name in the ending credits there
were still 24 people listed after his name came up.

3. You can look up more on Steve at the following sites.

http://www.imdb.com Type in "pachosa"

Subject: A Peak into Matt's Daily Life

1. For that guy in Siberia, Russia, and anybody else who is
interested go to your local Library and have someone show you:

http://www.geocities.com/mattbazaar

and look at the information for dates 4 Nov 00 thru 9 Nov 00.
They ususally charge 10 cents to print a page if you want copies.

2. Or go to Kinko's where they charge you 20 cents a minutes
($12 an hour) to use the internet and 35 cents to print a page.
You can also use a friend or raletive's computer if they have
the internet.

3. Gee, this is so much cheaper for me to just send an email
and let you worry about printing it out rather then me worrying.

4. I just realized that Harry and Lenora and maybe Helen and
Tony may have seen Adolph's murals before they were wallpapered
over after 1943. Harry and Lenora were in the house now at 75 W
Baker Street in November 1940. Harry and Annette are first
cousins.

5. Helen Paczosa Vitschivitch is first cousin to Annette also,
but maybe She and her husband Tony never saw the murals.

WED, 8 NOV 2000, DAILY ENTRIES

and Dean. More tomorrow...Matt
