THUR, 21 December 2000, DAILY ENTRIES

Subject:  CDC Procedures

1.  There are only two rules to belong to the "Click and Drag Club":
(1) Have a hotmail email account and...
(2) Send an email message to all the current members within a two
week period.

2.  But you have to know how to update your CDC Group Address or
when the membership changes you  won't be sending the email message
to the current membership.

3.  There are other things that are not required, but are nice to do.
So send a "welcome" to new members,  Send a birthday card to a member
on their birthday.  Let us know what is happening with you.  Write a
short autobiography [You only have to put down what you want to].

4.  So today at the library we will (1) update a few group addresses
and (2) send a few birthday cards.  This is for you to learn how to 
do it.  Hopefully, you will be able to remember how to do this every
time a birthday comes along...Matt 8:06 am

WED, 20 December 2000, DAILY ENTRIES

Subject:  Seems like a waste of time

1.  Since very few people are looking at this site it seems like
a waste of my time to try to keep updating this, but guess I will
finish out the year of 2000.

2.  Today I signed a contract for selling the last of eight house
I used as rental property.  If/when this closing happens on 16 Jan
2001 I will be out of the rental business.

3.  Also I just realized that the Christmas Season is almost over
and I really haven't done anything regarding that...Matt

Subject:  Your New Benefit Amount

1.  I received a notice letter from the Social Security Anministration
with the above subject and it said:  "Your Social Security benefits
will increase by 3.5 percent for 2001, based on a rise in the cost of
living.  You can use this letter when you need proof of your benefit
amount to receive food stamps, rent subsidies, energy assistance,
bank loans, or for other business."

2.  So since I retired with SS in August 1999, I have received two
cost of living increases in the amount I receive...Matt

Subject:  What's Happening?

1.  In addition to all else I am doing on the internet I also help
update two other web sites...

2.  The LINKS SINGLES site is for a group of people in the LINKS
SINGLES group and is at a site called a calendar here...

3.  The PINELLAS GENEALOGY SOCIETY also has a web site here...

4.  So there is quite a bit to do in addition to adding to this web
site and teaching about email, html, and searching the internet...Matt
