The coach house is set within a tranquil rural location at the end of a lane on the outskirts of the hamlet of Broadwoodwidger, making it an ideal place for walking and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
The local village of Lifton is four miles away, which has local shops, restaurants, and inns. There are also pubs in Lewdown (three miles away), and the West Country comedian Jethro performs regular stand-up shows thoughout the summer.
For larger shops, more restaurants and pubs why not visit the ancient town of Launceston (eight miles), which also has a castle, various churches, a steam railway, and a public indoor leisure center, with indoor pool.
If you are interested in water sports, or fishing, then Roadford lake is just one and a half miles away and the River Tamer is five miles. However if the seaside is your requirement then the sandy beaches of Bude are approxinately 25 miles, or why not visit Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor, which are within easy reach, to discover both counties at their best.
The busier towns and cities of Exeter, Plymouth, Barnstaple and Liskard are all about an hour away.
