Booking Conditions

  1. The accommodation, known as The Coach House, Broadwoodwidger, is booked from 4pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure.
  2. No booking is accepted until a completed booking form and a deposit of �75 from the total cost of the accommodation has been received and acceptance of the booking has been confirmed in writing. Your deposit will be returned at once if we are unable to accept your booking.
  3. Once a booking has been confirmed the Hirer is responsible for the total cost of the holiday as shown on the invoice. The Balance of Hire to be paid not later than EIGHT weeks prior to commencement of the holiday. In the event of cancellation by the Hirer, the Owner shall be entitled to retain the deposit as a booking fee. Upon receipt of reasonable notice of cancellation, the Owner will use all reasonable efforts to re-let the accommodation. However, the Hirer shall be liable to pay the full Balance of Hire unless the Owner has been successful in re-letting the holiday.
  4. The Hirer agrees:
    1. To pay for any damage howsoever caused, excluding reasonable fair wear and tear.
    2. To take good care of the property and leave it in a clean and tidy condition ready for occupation by the next hirers.
    3. That the number of people and pets occupying the property will not exceed those stated on the booking form, including children.
    4. Not, without the written consent of the Owner, to permit any person(s) to occupy the property other than such person(s) named on the booking form as submitted by the Hirer at the time of booking.
    5. Not to cause nuisance or annoyance to occupants of nearby property.
    6. Any pet is never left alone in the property or allowed in bedrooms or on any furniture
  5. The premises may be checked by the Owner on the morning of departure to verify that they are in clean and tidy condition and that the inventory is correct.
  6. The Hirer will remain resonsible for all members of the party and should ensure that they are aware of the booking conditions. If these are not met, particularly in the case of noise, or nuisance to neighbours, the Owner could refuse entry, or re-entry, to the property and no moneys be refunded.
  7. The Owner, his representatives and agents shall not be liable for any loss, damage, inconvenience or liability arising out of the hiring.
  8. The agreement shall be deemed to be a contract entered into in England and subject to English law. It is expressly agreed that the English courts shall have jurisdiction.
