This Saturday I will take to the steets of Dallas to Race for the Cure.  The Race is in its 24th year, and is part of a national 5K series sponsored by the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  The goal of the event is to heighten awareness and education about breast cancer, and to recognize and celebrate breast cancer survivorship.  The Race is also the largest fund raising event for local breast cancer screening, education, and research.

Up to 75% of the Race net income remains in Dallas County to fund local breast health education, screening and treatment programs.
