Can you believe all the things we have done in twelve years? 

To start…we have raised three great dogs – Fred, Ashley and Jack, two awesome cats – Rupey and Fritz - and a number of fish.  We made our first home in Los Angeles living on the beach and then in the heart of West Hollywood.  We packed up and moved half way across the country to the Big D and moved to our new home and built a backyard oasis for us.    We both excelled at our jobs no matter where we were working, and we made some good friends along the way.

We have traveled around the globe numerous times, attending the summer Olympics in Sydney to “coffee shops” in Amsterdam.   Vacationed with my mom and dad in Turkey and Matt’s parents in Las Vegas and in St. Maarteen   We have enjoyed Disney Land and Disney World.  Saw the sites in London, Paris, and New York and had one too many “Cervezas” in Cabo and Puerto Vallarta.  And one time, packed up the family and drove an RV Bus from Texas to Arizona for the holidays.

In twelve years we have laughed, cried, and have more stories then one would want to hear.  We met when I drove a Geo Tracker and you had a Grand Prix and today we have a Denali and BMW.  

We have lost some hair (ok I have) and added some wrinkles.  And don’t forget the weight. 

We have welcomed many of our good friends from California to our new home in Texas along with your parents and mine.  We hosted cousins, nephews, sisters and brothers, aunts and uncles and many new friends we have meet since arriving here.

Today we mark our twelve years together.

 It seems just like yesterday when I knocked on the door at your Bundy Street apartment and we met for the first time.  I look back and remember all the good times and bad ones we had and …and,  look forward to another 12 years together with ya, and wonder…. ……What new adventures will come our way?
