Great news from the Harvard Grad, 35-year Neurologist at Baylor today (Dr. Jorge Romero) The most recent MRI and MRA taken this past Wednesday indicates no immediate evidence of a Tumor.  The specialists are saying that it appears to be limited to just blood at this point.  However, longer term watching will be needed to know for sure. 

What's surprising about this news is that we seem to have a 100% disagreement between Baylor Medical Center and the Neurosurgeon at Presbyterian of Plano.  It’s so crazy that the Presbyterian office assured me yesterday that they were sticking to their diagnosis of tumor and recommended immediate surgery.  It's all very frustrating, but I feel confident I don't need surgery at this point.  I trust Baylor that there is no harm n waiting and Murad and I even sat in on the phone call to verify the results of the report with the team that evaluated it again this week.  They were asked…”Are you sure of the report findings”?  They responded confidently, “Yes.”  Worst case scenario is that there “could” be a small mass still being covered by the blood…but it’s not life threatening at this point. And no surgery is needed.

Anyway, the Neurologist and Neurosurgeon from the two different hospitals are going to speak today and find out why they differ so greatly.  This is not typical, so I'm thinking that one may be looking at the wrong information.  Scary....huh?

I’m back to work….just can’t fly on an airplane right now. 

I’m seeing another Neurosurgeon next week.  Dr. Barnett at Baylor.  He’s is the top guy for this stuff and will offer yet another opinion.  Hopefully, we receive further verification that there is no evidence of a Glioma tumor.
