Templeton "Face" Peck

Templeton Peck

Character Bio - Lt. Templeton Peck (Dirk Benedict)

Templeton Peck grew up in foster care and used several names before settling on the one that he goes by now. Known as Face (or Faceman) to the rest of the Team, he earned his moniker from his penchant for creating disguises and slipping behind enemy lines. Peck uses his skills as a conman to "liberate" materials for The A-Team and talk his way out of just about any jam. He enjoys fast cars and beautiful women; he's especially adept at using his skills of persuasion on members of the fairer sex. Face is the supply officer to the A-Team, ranking second in command to Hannibal.

Quick Bio
As the story goes, Dirk Niewoehner changed his name to Benedict at his agent's suggestion, who was inspired by a plate of Eggs Benedict that was sitting in front of him. After growing-up in Montana and going to college in Washington State, Benedict studied acting in Michigan. While best known for his performances on TV--including The A-Team, Chopper One and Battlestar Galactica (which   cemented his star status)--he cut his teeth acting in the  theater. He is also well known for beating prostate cancer, which he contracted in 1975, with a macrobiotic diet that he details in his autobiography, Confessions of a Kamikaze Cowboy. Today, he continues to act, write and direct. He is the author of three memoirs, Confessions of a Kamikaze Cowboy, And Then We Went Fishing, and Montana Memoirs (not yet published).  He has also written two plays, "Puppy Dog Tales" and "Acting Becomes Her" as well as a screenplay, "Cahoots." He is married to actress Toni Hudson.
