Fox 2000 to Produce A-Team Flick; Brodbin to Author
Script Stephen
J. Cannell recently posted an article on his website (http://www.cannell.com/)
confirming several rumors that were floating around the Internet regarding the much
anticipated A-Team feature film. Fox 2000 Pictures instead of Universal Pictures is
going to produce the movie and the original cast members (except for the deceased George
Peppard) will probably make cameo appearances; however, the main roles will be filled by
other actors. No casting decisions have been made yet. Read the excerpted
article from cannell.com: "HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Fox 2000 has hired
The A-Team. (02/07/01) Kevin Brodbin ("The Glimmer Man") will write the
bigscreen adaptation of TV action series "The A-Team" for Fox 2000. Series
creator Stephen J. Cannell and Top Cow Prods. will produce. Set up at Fox last summer, pic
will be an updated take of the NBC skein, with an eye toward becoming an action-comedy
franchise." (Read the rest of the article, click here.)
