     While munching on chips and drinking pop Abby and Valley talked over a movie.
"what the hell?" said Valley as Abby turned off the television without warning "that's not cool dude" she said as she looked to the right of her where Abby  was laying on the couch and she  was sitting on the floor resting against the couch
"is it because I am finishing the chips"said Valley as she pushed the bowl to Abby. 
Abby just looked at her" you read minds so you should know why I did that." she replied harshly.
"yeah but I am to lazy to. It took a lot to push that bowl towards you" she said but sensed that Abby wasn't going to let it go so she squinted her eyes "but I sense...ahhh Shannon" she said as she looked forward"just tell him your a mutant. Trust me he'll understand"she said as she took a drink of her pop"he will be fired up about it"she smiled and laughed "yeah I know i haven't met the guy yet, but it would only be understandable. Oh whatever, now you are trying to hook me up with his best friend" she looked at her "start talking, it sounds like I am talking to myself and i need some details, even though i can read your mind that's not enough."
Abby laughed "know what? Valley Hardy has a nice ring. He really wants to meet you"
"and you call yourself a friend Abigail Louise"
"what?"
"talking behind my back"
"whatever" she gently pushed her friend.
They laughed as Abby got up and sat beside Valley. She put both hands around her neck"friends forever"
"best friends forever" Valley said as she rested her head against Abby's" we may not be the only two mutants in the world but we are the two that will ride and die together. I will always have your back"

     "Abby,earth to Abigail Wotring" she heard a voice
Abby snapped out of her flashback at the sounds of voices around her. She looked over at Amy who just finished waving her hands infront of her. by this time everyone in the room was focused on her."
"looks like i'm not the only one in the room with an old friend in the group" said Professor Mark Calloway"isn't that right Abigail"
"I'm lost"said Shane"old friend?"  he looked around trying to put pieces of the puzzle together.
"Valley Brown"said Professor Calloway directing their attention  to the picture Doctor Stephanie McMahon had put up on the screen
"she is the most powerful threat against us, she is a danger to us all. she is the most dominate member of the eight although Hunter is labeled the leader she is the one really in charge"added Stephanie
"why are we doing this?"asked Matt speaking up out of confusion"what do they have to do with us?"
"these nine, Hunter,Randy,Trish,Batista,Rey,Torrie,John, Stacey, and Valley are Toxic Hood"said Mark as he stood up"the ones who have been making mutant problem bigger. The anti-humans"
"there's no way she is part of it"said Abby to herself quietly as she stared at the picture
"she looks so familiar"said Christian
"maybe Abby has turned into her"joked Chris
"no, I seen a picture of Abby and her"said Jeff"don't you remember, we met Abby but not Valley. The she disappeared"
"oh yeah, Abby wanted to hook you two up"said Amy said winking at Jeff, she remembered how excited he was when Valley had showed a slight interest in him. she also remembered how hurt he had been when he had been stood up.
"she didn't disappear or runaway did she Ms.Wotring"said Mark
"no"she looked at Shannon 
"oh so that's why you said your not the only one with an old friend"said Shane" I got ya"
Chapter 2
     "i hate mutants. Look at what they do. All those innocent people traumatized even hospitalized because of what they do. Someone needs to put a stop too it," said a guy with sandy blonde hair.

Sporting her AC/DC hat Valley tilted her head looking at the guy talking. At first she couldn't get a good view of him but as she looked up she caught him checking her out. She had on baggy black jeans that revealed her black thong and covered her brown Lug boots. She had on her favorite AC/DC t-shirt that revealed her double pierced navel and several bracelets on her left hand and a wrist band on the other. Around her neck she had a few necklaces, and two hoop earrings on each ear that went from bigger to smaller, then she had some other earrings going from that along her ear lope. She also had her tongue pierced twice, her left nostral, and two studs in her right eyebrow. Although her hair was covered with her hat and a black bandanna she had on underneath the hat she had her hair done in cornrows. Catching his eyes with hers she shot him a look of disgust as he started to talk.
 
"hey baby! looks like you have enough room in those jeans for me," he called out. " i would like to shake it all night long with you" and he wink and kissed towards her. Cocking her head sideways and raising her eyebrow slightly she suck her her middle finger up at him but it didn't bother him as he continued."awww don't be like that" he stood up and lifted his shirt up "this could be yours and i'm offering it"
"sorry but i have an eight pack...I don't do six packs" she said harshly.
"you are turning me down whore"
"don't get all made just because I ain't like most girls. Plus who's tha whore here? you were offering yourself like a slut"
"hey leave her alone" Rey said  as he stood up. He had been sitting across from Valley 
"what are you going to do about it? little man"
"may we help you?"asked Hunter as he stood behind the blonde guy
"yeah help him get a life" said Valley said sarcasticly as she took a drink of her pop
Randy sat beside Valley and put his arms around her as he kissed her"is he trying to score with my girl"
Valley kissed him" i handled myself. His six pack ain't nothing compared to your eight pack and something else" she smiled looking down. 
"i suggest you just leave her alone"said Hunter
"whatever fucker" he said as he turned around
Valley moved to the middle of the table as everybody else slid in"what took you guyz so long?"
"got lost"said Torrie
"and what about you? trouble finds you everywhere"said John
"what can i say, I am a trouble magnet"said Valley as she looked outside in the darkness
"well let's order, I'm starved" said Batista as he motioned for a waitress

     After awhile there orders came. They all dug in but Valley, who kept looking outside. She had a vibe as she veered through the darkness.
     
     "you knew didn't you, Val"said Abby as she approached Valley sitting by the tree in the park. It symbolized their friendship because that is where they first met as children
"knew what?" Valley asked like she didn't know what she was talking about
"about Shannon being a mutant. "he'll be fired up about it". I should of known" she said as she sat next to her
"well i thought he should be the one to tell you and vice-versa"
"I see"she said as she looked out at the sun set with Valley
"i'm sorry" she said not even looking at her
"about what?"asked Abby all clueless
"i read minds hello!" she looked at her "Jeff"
"oh...why Valley? why did you stand him up?" she asked kind of angry because it made her looked bad after telling them she is a nice person and would never do that
Valley was quiet for awhile "i don't know Abz. I just got scared i guess"
"you, Valley, scared of a date, a guy at that" she looked at her friend surprised
"i just thought of me on this date and it reminded me of my mother you know. Alwayz on a date, alwayz with new guyz, in bed with a new guy. What if it was a one time thing and it continues with ever date i go on. I don't wanna end up like me so called mother"
"it doesn't hurt to try Valley"
"plus would i fit in with your new found friends. I just feel like i don't belong anywhere"
"you belong here with me and you know it. Where would i be without my Valley Lee Lee...Lee...Lee Lee"
Valley laughed as the way she said it reminded her when somebody bounces a ball they start out slow and then start fast as it bounces. She looked out to the sun set as it started to disappear
"do i really belong here Abby?"she looked at her friend"do you really want me here because lately you seemed to be driftin'. You are alwayz with Shannon and his crew. Never do you ask for me to roll along, 'cuz for you,Abz, i would try and "belong" with y'all" she looked out at the horizon again" not my fault i am different from others physically and otherwise"
Abby sat in quiet as she could feel some tears trying to roll its way down her cheeks. Valley got up after awhile in silence. She figured she had nothing in her defence to what Valley said a few minutes ago

     "hey what's wrong babe" said Randy as he noticed she didn't touch her food
"nuttin" she snapped out of the flashback. The last time she ever talked with Abby
"you gunna eat that"asked Batista after swallowing a mouth full of food.
"naw man"she pushed the plate towards him"go for it" then she looked out towards the outside again"you know what? i'll be right back" and she jumped up on the seat and walked around
    
Chapter 3
     Valley walked out of the restaurant and and soaked in the coolness of the night. She watched the night sky as she slowly made her way across the street. She knew she was being followed so walked towards the end of the street away from Hunter and the crew's view. She jumped on the brick wall and walked along it. When it came to and end she turned around and walked back. She put her foot up on the buliding next to it
"so Abby, what brings you and these  kids to stalk me" she bent her knees and pushed back and did a back flip. She looked at Abby and not acknowledging  anybody else
"you've changed alot. I mean look at you. all those piercings, jet black hair and those red streaks, and..."
"i get the point okay" she interuppted Abby" i'm lil' bit different since the last time we seen each others. Okay alot but yeah... what can i say?"she spread her arms opened"i guess my attitude changed as well"she put her arms down" i'll say it since you are thinking it"
"i'd say so. You are more of a bitch"
"hey what can i say, it's tha way i have to be ya know. Life ain't exactly welcoming with open arms. Never has" she finally acknowledge everybody else. She stopped at stared at Shannon"even my own fuckin' kind"
"and Hunter has showen you what"asked Stephanie"a better life?"
"oh lil' miss Stephanie...oops my bad, Doctor McMahon"she jumped down"he didn't show me a better life...just showed me life"
"just the negative side"
"well my whole life has been negative"she snapped back
"Valley you used to be"she shook her head
"used to be what Abby?"she tilted her as she rolled her tongue around waiting for an answer "a human lover, is one way of explaining it when i look at ya'll" then she looked at Jeff"not anti-human"
"that and...you...were not like this"
"Abby i have alwayz been like this and you know it. You just deny it because you don't like this side of me. With you I never had to be like this, NEVER!" she covered her face"ahhh gawd. Look I know what you guyz were following me and i say fuck you" she stuck up her middle finger "i ain't gone anywhere with you guyz" she was going to walk by since it was her way back to Hunter but Matt stood in her way "ummm....do you mind?" she smiled" what can you possibly do? oh wait i know your powers and i am shaking in my boots" she said sarcasticly.
"Maybe you should be afraid of me Valley," Matt said trying to sound tough. He knew Valley's powers were much more intense than his own but he didn't want to back down.
"Matt don't be naive I could hurt you before you or anyone else here could attempt to stop me." Valley smiled.
"Valley please," Abby started. ""You are so much better than what you are trying to be. Toxic Hood is not for you."
"Please Abby, I guess you think group 'Goody-two-shoes' is right for me?" she snorted.
"Yes! Valley your heart is good not like Hunter, Randy, John, Torrie, or Stacey. You're different."
"No I'm not Abby! You may think that since we were old friend and come from the same place that we're the same but guess what! We're not!" Valley screamed and turned hells walking back toward the restaurant to her friends.
"Where've you been Val," Stacey asked as Valley sat down at the restaurant with her team.
"Out," she replied not wanting to bring up Illusion X with Toxic Hood.
"Where?" Hunter repeated Stacey's question.
"I had a run in with Abby and her gang," Valley stated.
"And?"
"And we had a disagreement about me."
"You need to forget all about that Abby girl. She's going to cause you problems, just watch and see."
"Listen Hunter, I'm trying! It's not easy to just forget all the good times we've had growing up. I'm trying to forget you know that!"
"Let's just back off her," Rey spoke up for the first time that evening. "Everyone in this room knows how damn hard it is to forget certain things in our pasts." Rey spoke from personal experience with is wife, more like his ex-wife as soon as she found about about his mutant side.
"How true," Trish said sliding her hand over to his. "But we just have to move on and live life as best as we can. We have each other and soon enough those who've hurt us will pay greatly."
"Yes they will pay greatly," Hunter smiled evilly.


Chp4
     Illusion X walked into Professor Calloway's office after failing their mission to retrieve Valley from Toxic Hood.
"brave of you Matt" said Abby "to step up to Valley"
"yeah, whatever"
"you know" started Christian as he sat down"we should of thought of a way to get her"
"yeah, we went right in there with no plan" agreed Chris
As Mark walked into the room everyone quit talking at once, focusing on him. He sat down at his desk sighing deeply. He knew that their mission was going to be more difficult that originally thought.
"Mark," Stephanie spoke out, she waited for him to look at her before adding, " we need to think this over"
"we got to Mark" Abby spoke up "Valley is not this kind of person. Toxic Hood has gotten to her"
"Abby babe"Shannon said as he put his arm around her waist and pulled her closer to her"she is Toxic Hood"
Abby looked at Shannon wanting to say something but she felt that it wasn't appropraite to agrue especially when they needed more than anything to stick together. They knew Toxic Hood was going to try something against them but didn't know when or where.
     Hunter,Trish,Randy,and Rey sat in the backyard of the Toxic Hood house while the rest of the group ran down to the market to get food for their barbeque.
"we need to get Illusion X some how"said Hunter"they will pay. They are the ones that stand between us gettin' rid of the humans"
"but how?"asked Trish as she looked at the guys
"i say we all take on somebody. Somebody that it at some what the same level powers"said Randy
"yeah, then we can take them out one by one"Rey said all hyped up
"whOa Rey. Calm down" Hunter said. Then he paused for a second"or we can get Valley"
"whOa!"said Trish"why is it always Valley? sometimes i get the feeling that you guys are only using her"
"Trish"started Randy"Valley is my girl and i love her so much that i don't wanna lose her"
"Trish we are not using her. She just has as great as powers as Mark. And if we wanna take Illusion X out we gotta get into Valley's head even more. With her having contact with Abby she seems to be unfocused. Like she seems to have a heart"
They laughed at the thought since Valley is the most cold hearted out of them all. They sat in quiet as they all sipped on their drinks and waited for the rest of the group to walk in.
"so what's the plan?"asked Trish
"i have an idea but let's see what Valley comes up with"
"you know you need to stop using Valley for everything. We should just have her lead us and not you. She does seem to be the leader of the group instead of you"
"Trish you need to just shut your mouth. Nothing goes unless i say so. Valley is just more of a brainstormer. She does the thinking while i say if it is a go. I am leading you guys to freedom here Trish"he said as he looked in Trish's eyes with demand "understood"
Trish was quit for awhile. "Yeah, understood"
"alright" he sat back in his chair "now, who is up for a kidnapping" he smiled
"kidnappin'? you guys plannin' without us?"said Torrie as they walked from the house
"what?"said Valley as she put the cases of pop on the table"who's gettin' kidnapped" She said as she looked at Trish then Rey then Randy and then Hunter. Hunter just looked at with a sly smile "Hunter" she said with a damanding voice "don't..."she stopped as she heard him say it in his head. Valley just stared at him not knowing what to do or say
"so what do you say?"
"who is?"said John"we are kidnappin' somebody right?. Or did i hear wrong"he looked at Hunter"somebody fill us in"
"c'mon Valley! You wanna get at Illusion X and she is our ticket"
Randy pulled her so she sat on his lap. He wrapped his arms around her waist. Valley looked at Randy "c'mon babe"he kissed her
"SOMEBODY FILL US IN!"said Stacey
"Stace don't sweat it. Rey,Randy and i don't even know"said Trish
"well what are we gunna do with her?"asked Valley
Hunter had a sicking smile on his face as he stared at Valley. Valley frowned with confusion of what he was thinking
