*3 YEARS LATER*
Abby and Jeff woke up to Junior jumping on the bed
"mommy,daddy come on wake up"he continued to jump"uncle Shannon iz gunna take me to go see auntie Kristy"
"uh huh ok"yawned Abby
Then Junior jumped off and walked out
"he's so smart for a 3 year old"said Abby with her eyes closed
"yup and a bratt to,but i wonder where he gets it from"said Jeff pulling Abby in closer
Abby jus smiled "from me. I jus love the way he talks it's so cute"
Then they hurd the front door close.Abby opened her eyes and Jeff was looking at her smiling
"what?"
"you didn't here what he said did you?"
Abby looked at him. Then she jumped up"Kris and JJ are back"
Jeff laughed and got up. After they were ready they went to Kristy and JJ's place. Everyone was there
"Abbykins"said Kristy hugging her"Junior said you were still sleeping"
"i was until i noticed what he said"
It was jus Junior,Kristy,JJ,and Abby left
"why do you guyz alwayz leave. I alwayz miss you"said Abby
"can i go with you next tyme auntie"said Junior
"you will have to ask your mommy,but it's gunna be awhile be'fo we leave again"said JJ
Abby just sat there staring at the floor
"Abby what's wrong?"asked Kristy
Abby looked up "nuttin'. Jus thinkin"
Junior was laying on the floor watching TV and was almost sleeping
" i think we should head home"said Abby
"no i wanna stay and watch the..."and he mumbled away
Abby got up and wrapped him in a blanket
"you don't mind if i borrow dis do you"
"no go head,we are gunna walk with you anywayz"

They walked to Abby'z. When they got there just Shannon was home. Abby went and put Junior to bed. When she went back JJ and Kristy said good-bye and left
"so has Jeff phoned or even come home at all"asked Abby as she sat down on the couch
"no,he left me at Stix after we played a game of pool. He said he was gunna for a walk"
"really"
"Abby iz everything alrite between you two becauze he's been acting weird lately"said Shannon
"as far as i know yeah everything iz alright"
"ok jus wanted to make sure"he looked away at tha TV then back to Abby "cuz you know we don't want to see anything happen between the two of you"
"Shannon were fine"she smiled then looked at the TV. Inside she was unsure
Around midnight iz when Jeff went home. Abby was laying in bed when she hurd him crawl into bed. She jus layed still acting like she was sleeping. She could tell he was drinking.
*NEXT DAY*
Abby got up and cooked breakfast
"kewl i don't have to cook anything for me"said Shannon walking in the kitchen
Abby jus smiled. Then Junior came running in threw sumthing at Shannon. Shannon then went after him. Abby went to see Jeff and he was just waking up. He layed there looking at Abby
"breakfast iz ready"she said looking dead in his eyes.Then she walked out
After breakfast was done, Abby gathered the dishes
"hey i'm gunna take Junior out"said Shannon
"ummm alright"
Then after they left Jeff came in with his plate. He was moaning and groaning. Abby went to the frige and got some advil and water and handed it to him
"here take the two and call me in the morning"she tried to smile but she couldn't
Jeff swallowed them "Abby,baby you mad at me"
Abby didn't reply. Jeff went up to her and spun her around so they were face to face. Abby looked to the right and then to Jeff
"what's wrong?"
"nothin' iz wrong. It's jus that.....where were you last night"
"i was out with some friends"
"well obviously. Look jus nevermind"and Abby kissed him
Abby went back to doing dishes. Jeff helped and they had a normal convosation but it felt different. His kisses,his touch,his words just all felt different to Abby. In the past three years everything was excellent between them. They were living life and loving it. They also looked so forward to the wedding they alwayz talked about it. But lately it's been different, a lot different. It scared Abby a lot.

*NEXT DAY*
"Jeff my child"Maggie put her hands on his shoulder,looked down and shook her head"don't make me slap you so you best tell me tha truth"she looked up and started laughing"but seriously what's up wit you and Abby"
"nothing iz up wit me and Abby. Why you ask?"
"well becauze the two of you have not been acting like Jeff and Abby"
"yeah you two jus don't seem close any mo"said Anna
"well you seem to be mostly drifting from Abby and Junior. You hardly do anything wit dem"said Kristy
Jeff sat there. Then he got up and went into there room where Abby was laying on the bed
"hey babe what you doin'?"he said as he layed on the bed
"nuttin' jus chillaxin"
"chillaxin'?"
"yeah you know chillin' and relaxin"
He smiled and stared at her. Abby was staring at the ceiling but she could feel him stare at her. She looked thru the corner of her eye
"what?"she smiled
"does it seem like i am drifting away from you and Junior"
Abby was quiet. Then she turned to face him. She stared at him for awhile "why you ask?"
"becauze that's what Kristy said"
"Jeff you have been acting not like the Jeff i knew"
"oh so what i can't change"
"no that's not i am saying"
"so i can't change and becauze i am acting different something's wrong"
"Jeff thats not what i am saying"
"what about them Kristy? why are they getting in our business?"
"like whOa chill out. They are jus being there for us" then Abby got up "i think you need some chillaxin' time"and she walked out
"hey iz Junior home from Pre-school yet"she asked as she sat down
"nope. Shannon went to get him right"said Maggie
"yeah. Hey where iz all y'all mans"
"i fink they are wit Shannon"
"it takes all of them to pick up a kid"
They laughed. Then awhile later they walked in
"hi mommy"and he went and gave Abby a hug"i am gunna go play the game"and he took off running
"he iz addicted to that game since you guyz bought it for him"said Abby lookin at Matt
"it keeps him busy tho"said Jeff walking in
It got quiet. Jeff sat down by Abby
"well it got quiet"said Maggie
Then Kristy grabbed the stereo remote "it's jus to quiet" and she turned it on "what cd's are in there?"
"i dunno"replied Abby
They sat there talking for awhile. Then Jeff went a wrapped his hands around Abby. Everyone was still quiet. Then they started to kiss. After awhile Baby-Ashanti went on. Abby got up and pulled Jeff with her. Then she started to sing to him. In the moment it felt right,like it has felt for years. After everyone left Jeff drifted. Abby figured he would do that. In her mind he was putting on a show for others so they wont think something was wrong.
*A WEEK LATER*
"ah ha i kicked yo ass"said Abby after she finished a game of pool against Sam
"ahhhh shud up"
"Abby where's Junior?"asked Rachel
"wit his uncle"
"which one?"
"Shannon"
"anutha game"said Sam
"you rack and i'll break"
"k" and Sam racked
"oh yeah"said Abby when Addictive-Truth Hurts came on
Then Abby,Sam and Rachel started to dance. Then some more of Abby's friends came in
"Kyle Christine,Sandra,Melissa,Julia what's up?"said Abby as she shot the ball in
"nuttin much jus walkin around"said Christine
As more people came in Abby noticed that people were staring at her. They would look at her and then tell something to their friends and then they would look. It made Abby uncomfortable
"hey did you hear about tha big party tonight?"asked Kyle
"what party?"
"down in south side"
"yeah were going soon,i think"said Sandra
"hey Abby"
Abby turned around "oh hey Jessica,where's Shannon?"
"he's at home wit Junior. He wanted me to tell you don't worry bout going home becauze he hurd about tha party and thinks you would like to go"
"really"
"yeah Jeff went"
"huh,you know what i'm gunna go"
"you should you need sum time to have fun"
Abby hugged her"thanx you guyz are great"
"yeah anytime. Well i am gunna head back. You didn't have your cell on so i came down to tell you"
"i don't have my cell"
"well that would explain why you never answered"and she walked away
"y'all ready to partay"Abby said
"yeah"
They all walked there. When they arrived there was already a bunch of people. Abby walked around and slowly lost everyone. Then she saw Sam and Rachel dancing so she joined them. After that they went to get something to drink. Then they found somewhere to sit
"man it's packed in here eh?"said Abby
"yeah i guess they didn't lie when day said it was a big party"said Rachel
"hey have you hurd that Jeff and Mandy are going out"shouted a voice over the music
"i thought he was going out wit Abby"
"yeah they are suppose to be engaged but have you seen how they are tonight. They are really close and by the way they were acting it looks like they are going out"
Abby sat there quiet
"Abby what's wrong?"asked Sam
"nuttin"and she got up"i'll be rite back i need some fresh air"
On her way out she saw Kristy,JJ,Shane,Maggie,Anna,and Blake
"ABBY"said Anna
She stopped and hugged her. Then she kept walking
"Abbykins wha's wrong?"asked Kristy
"nuttin' i jus need fresh air"
"when did you get here?"asked Shane
"long ago"and she started to walk again
She was on her way out when she saw Jeff. He was kissing none other than Mandy. They both were all over each others. Then they walked to one of the rooms still kissing not caring that they were bumping into people. Abby stood there awhile after they disappeared in the room. Then started to walk home. Sam and Rachel caught up to her
"hey Abby where you going?"
"home"
"why don't you come to our place. Some of us are jus gunna go chill there"
"nah i think i will jus go home"

Abby went to Matt and Amy's first.
"hey sis what's up?"said Matt
Abby walked in. She sat down without saying anything,then Abby started to cry
"Abby what's wrong?"asked Amy hugging her
"fucking Jeff.....he......ahhhh gawd"she wiped the tears
"Abby what about Jeff?"
"he's doing it again"
"what?"asked Matt who kneed down in front of her
"cheating on me"she looked up trying to hold the tears from coming again
"no way Abby he isn't"
"for the past weeks he hasn't been Jeff the one i grew to love. Jus everything changed with him. He's jus not tha same way with me. Him being out late,not spending time with Junior, jus everything"
Matt hugged Abby "hey lil sis everything iz gunna be alright"
"Matt i'm scared. Why would he do this? what have i done to make him do this?"
"Abby have you been drinking?"
"yeah i only had like two bottles of Smiroff Ice and that's where i found Jeff and Mandy. Gawd,like i mean he didn't see me. He prolly didn't even know i was there becauze nobody never even knew i was there until i was leaving"
"Junior at home?"
"yeah i jus don't want him to be there when Jeff gets home becauze......becauze i am gunna come right out"
"how bout i phone Shannon and have him bring him over here so you guyz can talk"said Amy
"but it's late"
"so"she said as she was dailing the number. Then she got off "he is bringing him over"
"yeah he can stay here as long as you guyz need"said Matt as he hugged Abby
Then Shannon and Jessica showed up with Junior
"where can i put him"said Shannon as he held Junior
"in the spare bedroom"
"so what's going on?"asked Shannon as he came walking back in
"you know wut i am gunna go home now,you guyz can tell him"
Then she walked out.Abby was on her way home when she took a detour. Instead of going home she went to Sam and Rachel's. Then after awhile of visiting she went home. Jeff wasn't there. So she got her pj's on,layed down on the couch and got comfy. She pulled her blanket up to her chin, then she opened a bottle of Smirnoff Raspberry Twist and drank it straight. She was half wayz done when Jeff walked in. He looked at her surprised and then sat down.
"Abby what are you doing?"
"i'm drinking it up can't you see"and she took a drink
"where's Junior?"
"at Matt and Amy'z"
Jeff got up and sat by her. Abby looked up and him
"what"
"why are you drinking?"
"why not. You can come home drunk and i can't. By the way did you have fun at the party?"
"come on Abby something's wrong"he said with a kiss
"ahhh gawd don't kiss me" and she got up and walked in the kitchen
Jeff followed. Abby chugged down the rest of the bottle and she grabbed another bottle
"to think i started out with two bottles of Smirnoff Ice and now this second bottle of Raspberry Twist"and she drank a quarter of it.
"Abby what's wrong?"
"nuttin"and she drank some more
"Abby you only drink when there's something wrong or bugging you"
"what i can't drink jus fo tha hell of it"and she flopped on the stairs
Jeff staggered his way to Abby "Abby you drank half that 40 pounder in two drinks" and he sat by her
Abby sat in silence for a bit "ok mayb somethings iz bugging me but i am jus scared to face it" and she took another drink and put her head on his shoulder
"well tell me baby"he said while wrapping his arm around her
Abby drank the rest of the bottle "four drinks and i am done. I have set a new record" she said changing the subject
They jus sat there. Then Abby got up and went to bed. She was later joined by Jeff
*NEXT DAY*
Abby woke up to the phone ringing. Then she hurd Jeff answer it. Then she felt his arms around her
"Maggie and Shane are gunna take Junior out for the day"
"uh huh"said Abby all tired
"man we are so lucky to have them"
"yeah i wonder what we would do without them. It does seem they are trying to steal him"she smiled
Then they went back to sleep
"hello anybody home"yelled Shane
"oh hey Shane"said Shannon walking out of the kitchen
"where's Abby and Jeff?"asked Maggie
"they're still in bed. Hey where's Junior?"
"he wanted to go back to Matt and Amy's"
"hey i am gunna wake up Jeff and Abby"said Shane
"oh no"moaned Abby and then she covered her head with the blanket
"hey you guyz awake"and he tipped toed in
"no,now go away"said Abby
Abby hurd the door close
"good he left"said Jeff
"i don't think so"and he ran and jumped on them
"Shane why do you have to be such a pain in the ass"said Abby looking out of the blanket
"it's 5 in the evening"
"and"
"it's time to get your asses out of bed"
Abby stuck out her tongue and went back under the blanket. She saw Jeff and he kissed her. Abby smiled and kissed him back
"ok ok i will leave"said Shane
Abby felt him move and she pushed him off with her feet
"hey that's not cool"and he jumped between them
"hey we were busy here"said Jeff
"that's not gunna get me out. Now get up"
They layed there in silence for abit. Then Abby got up
"jeez you"
Then Shane got up and ran behind Abby, picked her up and threw her over her shoulders
"well that woke me up"she said as he threw her on the couch"you dweeb"
About an hour later Jeff came out
"where you going?"asked Abby
"jus going out for abit" and he walked out

A few minutes later Matt,Amy,Junior and Jeff walked in
"hi mommy"said Junior walking in giving her a hug
"hey did you have fun?"
"yeah"
"come on daddy let's go"and he pulled Jeff and they went in his room
"i thought he was leaving"said Maggie
"so did i"said Abby
"we saw him at the end of the driveway and Junior begged him to stay home and play games with him"said Amy
"oh i see"
"where was he going?"asked Matt
"i have no freakin clue"
"so what happened last night?"
"nuttin', i dunno....i jus didn't go all out"
"i really need to talk about dis wit Kristy"
"well let's go"
"man none of you really want to talk to Jeff about dis do ya"
"we tried he jus wont break"said Shannon
Then they all got their stuff on
"i'm jus gunna tell Jeff we are leaving aiight"
Then Abby went to Junior's room
"hey we are gunna go for a bit we will be back soon"
Jeff looked up at her "yeah ok. Man he iz really kickin my ass"
"well it's all he does"and Abby closed the door "if you were home more often you would know"she said to herself
Then they all went to Kristy and JJ's
"whOa it's tha whole clan"
"yeah we are all her to counsel me"said Abby as she sat by JJ" i don't even know why i am doing this"
"becauze we all care and we worry"said Amy
"obviously Jeff doesn't want to say anything"
Then they started from when it started to that day
"i mean i wanted to tell him last night but i was jus scared. I'm scared"
"of what?"asked Kristy
Abby sat there and thought. Then she realized she didn't know anymore "i dunno" she looked at them "i mean at first i was scared of losing Jeff but now i don't know"
Everyone was in silence. Abby jus sat there puzzling herself why was she really there? everything she has said to them they hurd before
"i feel lost and confused now"said Abby"we don't even know how Jeff feels"
"we will and i mean it"said Maggie "even if i have o beat it out of him"
Abby did a half smile "so depressing" was all she said
Then she got up and put her shoes on
"Abby Lee where you going?"asked Matt
"home. I need to think it over"

She looked at them and then looked down and walked out

"yeah and he said that he broke it off with her"said a blonde girl
"i guess Mandy got him after all"said a red head
"they've been going out for months now"
"man what will Abby do when she hears about it"
Abby sat there with her hood over her head. That was all Abby hurd that week. Then she took of her hood and looked at the two girls. Their eyes wided and then they got up and walked out of the McDonald's entrance. Then in the corner of her eye she saw the two girls stop. Abby carefully looked and saw Jeff,Mandy and her friends. Jeff looked in and stepped back. Abby couldn't see him but she didn't see him walk away so she figured he sat down on the table outside. Then Mandy walked in. She sat down with some of her friends while the others order
"remember it's to go"yelled Mandy
Abby opened her chocolate milkshake and he was half full. She got up and walked towards Mandy. Mandy looked at her and glared
"well izn't it Abby the bitch"
Abby stopped infront of her. She had no expression on her face. Then she dumped her milkshake on her
"izn't it Mandy the shit head" she said still no expression
Then she walked out. She saw Jeff sitting there. He was looking in the window
"hey ain't nobody be dissin' me. Especially when i am in a bitchy mood" she looked at him
"so what are you doing?"
"i'm cooling off and now i am gunna go play some pool. Care to join or are you busy" she said in a bitchy tone
Jeff jus stared back at her
"alright" and Abby walked away
She got to Stix and joined Kyle,Sandra and Melissa in a doubles pool game. Then awhile later Jeff walked in. He walked to Abby and held her from behind
"why are you angry?"
Abby jus looked up at Melissa"who's turn?"
"yours"
Then she walked away from Jeff. After the game was over she left. Jeff followed
"Abby what's wrong?" he asked as he grabbed her hand" you've been like this for a few weeks now"
"look i have my good days and my bad days. You can guess what today iz"
When they got home Abby jus went to there room and layed down. Jeff walked in a few minutes later
"where's Junior?"
"pre-school"
"oh yeah"
Abby rolled her eyes. Jeff layed beside her and put an arm over her

Abby jus layed there looking at the ceiling
"great now i am getting the silent treatment"
*NEXT DAY*
Abby woke up and Jeff was still sleeping. She got up and got Junior ready for pre-school. When she got back from walking Junior, Jeff was still sleeping. She layed down and went to sleep. When she woke up it was 5pm
"hey you awake"said Jeff
"shit Junior"
"don't worry i picked him up. You looked so peaceful sleeping so i got him"
Abby smiled
"you must be stressed or something. You alwayz look tired and you sleep late now"
Abby didn't say anything. She layed there. Then she got up
"Abby why wont you talk to me"
"i have nuttin' to say"she looked back at him and smiled
When she walked out Shane,Maggie,Shannon,and Jessica were sitting watching TV. She sat down. About an hour later Jeff walked out
"where you going?"asked Abby
"jus out for a bit. Go and chill with some friends"

"yeah whatever"she said as he closed the door
Shannon,Shane,Maggie,and Jessica jus looked at each others

Then they jus watched TV in silence
"ok it's girl's night out"said Amy as she walked in followed by Matt,Kristy,JJ,and Anna

"since like a few minutes ago"said Anna
"where we going?"asked Maggie
"i dunno but let's go"
"wait,what about Junior?"
"the guyz are gunna look afta him"
"yeah so go out and have fun"said Matt
"ummm ok"
Then Abby went and got ready even though she didn't know where they were going.When she was ready the girls left. They walked around town
"so how iz everything between you and Jeff?"asked Kristy
Abby didn't say anything
"aiiyo Abby Lee"
"huh,what?"
"wuteva you hurd me"
"i know"she smiled"everything iz fine"
"come on Abby rememba what you saw at tha party"reminded Amy
"oh yeah that. I totally fo'got bout dat"

Abby jus looked at her. Then she started to walk away from them

"Club "A". Wanna come"

Then they caught up with her
"i jus have dis feeling i should go there"Abby said as they got closer
Then they walked in. It was packed
"it must be a friday"said Abby as they sat down
"well what tha hell are we sittin' down fo"said Kristy"let's go and dance"
Then they got up and went to the dance floor. When they got out there, Sexuality-DJ Quik started to play
"awwwww yeah"said Kristy as she put her hands in the air
As they continued to dance as the music played something caught Abby's eye

Abby noticed that she stopped dancing "yeah i jus need something to drink"
"well let's go"she said as she grabbed Abby's arm "we'll be right back"
They got to the bar and order some drinks

Kristy looked over
"oh my gawd iz that Jeff wit those hoes"

"yeah,why?"
"time to put your hands up"

Then they got her cd and went up to DJ Sly
"you know i would anything fo you girls"he said as he grabbed tha cd "but you will have to perfrom some uthaz songs to"
"Sly"said Kristy. Then she looked at Abby "aiight but don't lose my cd or i will have to kick yo ass"
"ok Sly three songs and dats it"said Abby
"aiight everyone we have sum performs in da house to night. They have promised to perform 3 songs"
Then Hands Up-TLC played. Abby and Kristy walked out on the stage. Abby started to sing. Half wayz through the song she found Jeff still with tha bunch of girls all over him
"You were rite there with your hands up in the air,with hoochies everywhere,all on you,it was almost like i don't know you,trying to shake that ass,playa you don't even dance,s'up wit chu"
Then the song was over. Abby jus continued to stare at Jeff. Jeff finally noticed Abby. Then Gangsta Lovin'-Eve and Alicia Keys came on. Abby did Eve's part and Kristy did Alicia Keys part. Then For My People-Missy Elliott feat Eve came on,which Kristy did Missy Elliott and Abby did Eve. Through out the songs Abby kept her eyes on Jeff and he did the same. Abby noticed it was Mandy and her friends that were over Jeff
"yeah now that's how to do it. Give them a round of applause"said DJ Sly
Then Abby jumped down from the stage and walked to Amy,Maggie,and Anna
"let me guess Hands Up was fo Jeff"said Maggie as she looked at Jeff trying to make his way over
"i wonder what gave that away"
"man those girls really don't want him to leave. Look at dat they are like hanging off of him fo dear life"
"yeah"and Abby turned around
"hey let's go walk around"

"WAIT ABBY"yelled Jeff
Abby jus looked behind her and kept walking. They all got there stuff and walked out
"this is for my people my party people" they sang down the street
"yeah man you guyz rocked da house"said Maggie
As they talked and yelled at people driving by in cars,Abby was quiet

"yeah Abby you like callin' down people"said Amy
"i'm not in the mood"

"you're right. But i jus need to be by myself to think this over"said Abby,then she walked away

Abby walked around thinking about what she saw. Then she couldn't handle it anymore. She made a quick stop and walked to Rachel and Sam's

Then Abby pulled out some joints "let's blaze"
"aiight i will get the knifes ready" and Sam got them ready
Then they blazed up the weed. After they were done they sat around talking

Abby froze and it felt like her chest jus dropped

Sam and Rachel hugged her. Abby jus sat there

It was snowing hard when Abby left Sam and Rachel's. Abby was in her thoughts when she hurd someone calling her

She looked back and saw Jeff trying to catch up to her. Abby jus kept walking

He still didn't say anything. Abby was holding back the tears

They both looked
"oh hi Mrs.Wattson. How are you?"said Abby

"well alright see you around" and she walked into Subway
"who was that?"asked Jeff
" Mrs. Wattson. She's only been our neighbour for years" and she pulled herself away from Jeff
She got a bit further before Jeff caught up and grabbed her from behind
"Jeff will you please jus give it up" she said as she tried to break free
But he held on. Abby was trying to break free. They staggered back and forth before they fell back into a snow bank. Jeff let go of Abby and she tried to get up but he grabbed her again
"Jeff why bother,you are caught. I caught you twice"
Jeff gripped her tighter and put his chin her shoulder "i don't want to lose you"and he kissed her neck
Abby sat there. She looked around and started to cry silently. Jeff started to make his way up to her lips but Abby pulled away. Then she turned around as much as she can
"you already have"she looked him dead serious in the eyes
Abby couldn't believe that jus came out of her mouth,then she did and she ment it. Abby turned around to face the empty street and began to cry harder. She felt Jeff kissing the back of her neck
"no i can't lose you"
"you should have thought of that before"
Abby felt him hold on to her tighter. She tried to get up but jus sat back down. Jeff pressed his forehead on her back
"no,Abby you can't do this to me"
"look at what you done to me. Jeff i can't take this anymore. I mean you wont even tell why"she paused" jus let me go before i have to like bite you or something"

Abby sat there waiting for Jeff to let her go

Abby tried to break his hands apart but he wouldn't let go. Abby turned around until she was ontop of him. She looked at him. He kissed her but then Abby grabbed some snow and then shoved it in his face. Jeff let go and Abby got up. She stood there looking at him
Then Jeff got up and tried to go for Abby again but she pushed him away

"that makes two of us. Maggie,Anna,Kristy,JJ,Matt,Amy jus everyone has been trying to keep us together but you wouldn't say jack shit. I'm beginning to think that you jus don't wanna be with me any mo"
Jeff looked up at her
"that's it izn't it. Fuck man what did we have all these years? what was i to you? you best pray that i don't mess up Mandy face more then it already iz"
"Abby" and he stood up"calm down"

Then she looked back down at her ring and stared at it "that's the thing you go back to Mandy and i alwayz go to you. It's basically like My Best Friends Wedding ya know,she goes after the one she loves but he goes after anutha girl"
He raised an eyebrow

Then she looked down again. Then Jeff lefted her chin up. Then Abby took of her ring and gave it to Jeff. He held it in his hand
"i can't deal with this anymore and i ain't gunna take,but jus fo Junior i am willing to live together but i will jus move in the spare bedroom. Now go,go to Mandy" and she turned around and tears were running down.
She only got few feet when the cops pulled up. Abby stopped
"excuse me but we had a complaint of disturbance"
Abby walked back
"also that there was a man harrasing a lady"
"no officer we are alright"said Jeff
"are you sure? have you been drinking?"

"are you sure becauze you are slurring and you can hardly stand"

Abby woke up she hurd sum one in the kitchen
"oh Abby your home"said Shannon

"why you on the couch?"

Abby layed there for abit. Nobody said a word
"ok since y'all are here" Abby sat up and looked at each one of them "you guyz have to promise me that none of you will try and fix this up"
Nobody said anything. They jus sat there and looked at each others
"cuz i have had enogh and i jus don't want it anymore. So tell me now that none of you will try"
"Abby why did you do it?"asked Maggie
"look that's no important now. It's over and done wit so jus tell me now"
"ok we wont"said Maggie
Abby got up "ok thanx"
"well ummmm yeah we have to go"said Matt
"yeah we have to......go"said Kristy
Then they all got up and left. Abby stood there wondering why they left so quickly
"ok so what are we gunna do to fix this"said Shane as they all walked to Kristy and JJ's
Abby walked to Junior's room to check on him. He was still sleeping. Then she went to her and Jeff's room. Jeff was sleeping. Abby went and turned on some music,she put on the headphones so she wouldn't wake Jeff. She layed down on the floor looking at the ceiling.
She was listening to Over by Ashanti when she started to cry

Abby layed there with tears running down. Then Don't Change-Musiq came on,the song which Jeff dedicated to her long ago. Then she cried more. When she opened her eyes Junior was there,she sat up and wiped the tears away. She looked at him and took off the headphones

"mommy are you ok?"he asked as he hugged her
"yeah" and she hugged him back"mommy's alright"
" then how come daddy iz crying too"
Abby looked over at Jeff, he was sitting on the edge of the bed with his face in his hands
"where's uncle Shannon?"
"he went to Jessica's"
"you wanna go to auntie Kristy'z and uncle JJ's"
"no i don't wanna leave you mommy"

"why are you and daddy fighting?"
"come on let's go phone auntie and uncle,mommy and daddy have to talk" said Jeff as he picked up Junior
Then they went back to the bed and Junior sat on Jeff'z lap as he talked to JJ. Junior was hugging him
"uncle iz on his way to pick you up"

Then they walked out. Abby sat there for awhile before she got up and walked in the living room. JJ was already there and they were just walking out the door
"bye mommy" and he ran and hugged her
After they left,Abby went in the kitchen and got something to drink. Jeff came in after her and held her from behind
"Jeff don't" and she turned around and tried to push him"jus give it up"

"Jeff why don't you explain for once. Instead of me,why don't you tell me"
He pulled Abby in and wrapped his arms around her " Abby i'm sorry for what i did. I'm an idiot for doing that. Your the only one for me and i don't want to lose you. Pleaze forgive me"
Abby looked up trying to hold back her tears, then she did a half smile " you know what's funny? i love you and i tell you and show you but you don't do tha same. You jus say you don't want to lose me" then she looked down and back up at him again " you hardly say you love me and hear people have been tellin' me you alwayz say it to Mandy" then she walked away
She put here shoes on. She looked back at Jeff who was standing by the kitchen doorway
"where you going?"
"i need to go for a walk,i jus can't talk right now" and she was crying. She opened the door and stopped " you have some fuckin' nerve coming here" she said as she stared at Mandy
"iz Jeff here?" she said
"move bitch get out of my way"
Mandy jus stood there
"or do i have move you myself" and Abby pushed her and she fell back
Mandy got up "bitch"
Abby walked by her. Abby was halfways down the driveway when Mandy went behind her and pushed her. Abby without hesitating turned around with a punch. Mandy fell back once again but got up right away. Kristy and JJ were walking up with Junior. Jeff was trying to stop Abby and Mandy but kept getting pushed away. JJ ran up and held back Abby and Jeff grabbed Mandy. Kristy told Junior to go inside
" you need to get the fuck outta here "said Kristy
"i'll help her"said Abby trying to break free from JJ
"i ain't leaving without Jeff"
"then i will help him too"said Abby
Then Jeff was still holding on to Mandy when they started to walk away

Abby,Kristy,and JJ walked in. Junior went running to Abby. Abby picked him up and hugged him. Then she started to cry
"i don't want a new mommy"said Junior as he hugged her
Abby sat down. Then she looked at Kristy and JJ. Kristy and JJ sat by Abby and hugged her
"your not gunna have a new mommy"said Kristy"nobody can replace your mom or dad"
Abby calmed down after awhile "man it's only 10 after 2 " said Abby as she looked at her watch " that was a long morning"
"yeah i know"said Kristy
Junior was sleeping on Abby
"poor baby"said Abby as she runned her hand threw his hair

Then there was a knock at the door. Kristy got up to get it. When she opened it she looked at Abby and back to the person on the other side
"is Abigail Brown here"
"yeah ummm jus wait"
Abby got up and tried to give Kristy but he wouldn't let go of Abby
"jeez even in his sleep he doesn't want to let go of you"
Abby carried him with her to the door "yes"

" i'm Angela Black,may i come in so we can talk"
"ummmm sure" and Abby backed up so she can walk in. Then she looked at Kristy and JJ " ummmm here take Junior to your place"
"actually he will need to stay" said Angela
Abby looked at her with concern
" we will phone you latah" said Kristy
"yeah ok"said Abby still looking at Angela wondering why Junior had to stay
After Kristy and JJ left,Abby layed Junior down on the couch

"not saying your abusing him but that he has been around it. As for the alcohol we understand that Jeff has been in jail for drinking and that the two of you have a past with alcohol and drugs"
Abby sat back
"we have talked to Junior at pre-school a few times"
"what gives you the right to ask him questions while he is not with us"
"we want the best care for him"
"that doesn't matter. He needs to be with his mom and dad"
"how could he be with his mom and dad? when his mom and dad are not together"
"what? do you guyz stalk us,keep tabs on our every move"

Abby felt a tear go down
"now we have found a home for him for the meanwhile"
"you guyz have been planning this behind our backs,not even letting us know what was happening and now you jus come up in here and taking my son away like that" she said trying to keep it quiet and not waking Junior

"did it ever come to mind to leave a freakin' message" said Abby getting angery with frustration
Then another knock was at the door. Abby looked in tha direction
"that must be the other workers here to pick up Junior"
"no i am not gunna let you take him" said Abby going to Junior and picking him up

"no we're not. We are taking him just until you and Jeff get it togther. We are also gunna ask you both to take some counselling sessions. For now we have to take Junior, becauze by the bruise and cut on your face it's not good for him"
"well i'm sorry that i fell" Abby lied

Abby started to cry and she held onto Junior. Angela went to the door and opened it
"who the fuck are you to let them in. This ain't your house"

"hey Junior, i'm Angela and this is Micheal and Michelle. How would you like to come with us"

"Abigail if you want him back fast you are gunna have to go along with us"

" we can go the easy way or the hard way. If you choose the easy way you can give us Junior or the hard way,which we will be forced to call the cops"

Abby was gathering Junior's stuff. So many things were goin through her mind. Junior just sat down on his bed watching her

Abby stood up with Junior still clinged to her. They walked to the door. Abby handed Michelle the bag

Micheal grabbed Junior but Junior wouldn't let go. When he finally did let go after a few tugs, he hugged Micheal

"we will phone you and give you contacting information and let you know what will have to be done" said Angela as they walked out
Abby stood by the door and watched as they drove away. Junior was still crying. Abby closed the door after they were gone. She walked to the couch and stood there. She put her hand on her hips and her other hand she stroked through her hair and held some. Then she clapsed on the couch. She had both her hands in her hair. She couldn't believe what just happened. When she did she cried harder.
Right there,in that moment, she felt like she lost everything when she realized she did. First Jeff then Junior. Even though she knew she let go of Jeff. She really need somebody there to comfort her. She picked up the phone but hurd the door opened. She looked over to him
"Abby what's wrong?" he said as he walked towards her
Abby got up and wrapped her arms around his neck and layed her head on his shoulder

They said we need to go to counselling sessions if we want to get Junior back" she paused "i don't even know where they took him,they are gunna phone to let us know where he iz and what we have to do" Abby noticed somebody was outside "why the fuck did you bring her here?" and that's when she let go of Jeff
"that's not important. What's important iz that we need to get Junior back"
" you don't realize it do you? she iz part of the reason. If it weren't for her we would still be together, if it weren't for her i wouldn't have this bruise and cut from her which is part of the reason why they took him" she looked at Mandy "they have been talking to him at pre-school becauze people have been phoning in on us. About our drug and alcohol use, past and present and about him being exposed to violence like today"
Abby walked towards the door
"no Abby pleaze don't"
"i'm not. I don't feel like fighting right now, i feel like.......erg i feel like....." she looked him in the eye and turned around

"no Jeff, i thought we had tha day planned" said Mandy
"look i just told you my son got taken away and i need to be there for Abby right now" and Jeff closed the door on her
Abby was in their room sitting on the bed. Jeff sat by her
"we are going to get our son back"
Abby looked at him. The way he looked and the fact he said it, made her happy inside but she didn't show it.
"Jeff where did i go wrong?"
"what do you mean?"
" with us"
"you didn't go wrong anywhere. It was me"
"but i did something to make you cheat on me"
Jeff looked down to the floor "Abby i don't know why i did. I guess i was scared"
" scared of what?"
He was quiet for awhile. Then he turned to Abby and looked her deep in the eyes. His eyes alwayz had Abby mezmerize
" with all honesty it was becauze i love you so much that i kept asking myself how did i end up with someone so wonderful as you that i thought i didn't deserve you. That you needed someone better than me"
Abby noticed that he said love and not loved "Jeff your not the only one who thought that. I kept asking myself tha same question you did. And besides how can i find someone better when i have someone great"
They stared in each others eyes for the longest time. Jeff was leaning in close. Abby looked away
"but Jeff why did you have to hurt me like this? you were with Mandy for months before i found out and you were with her a few years ago. Obviously you feel something for her"
"we were close to getting married now that has to show sumthing"
"yeah close but it didn't happen and it also proves we ain't ready or we don't belong together"
"Abby we have known each others since like grade 8. Now then we were jus friends but that grew into something more,but it was hidden for the longest time. From the moment i met you when i was the new kid you were the only one that came up to both me and Matt. Now when we were in class together i would alwayz watch you hoping that you would come up to me and you did. Everyone said i was weird becauze of who i was but you didn't care. You stuck by me and i stuck by you, even though people were telling me that i shouldn't hang with you becauze you would be a bad influence on me. You weren't though, but you were tha bad ass and my bad ass at that"

" Jeff it's not going to be easy this time. I've let you off easy every other time becauze i love you but this time sorry is jus not enough"
And she kissed him for the last time. Jeff tried to continued it but Abby pulled back " i have to go phone the clan. But we need to work on getting Junior back" then she got up "this is a messed up day that i am so tired, i don't think i can do this anymore" and she started to cry again " i don't think i have cried dis much in my life time" and she fell back down on the bed. She layed down on her back "i don't think i can tell them right now"
Jeff grabbed the phone beside their bed and layed by Abby. He pulled her to him "pleaze jus let me hold you"
Abby did. Jeff rested his head on Abby's chest. Then he phoned everyone. They layed there for awhile until they hurd everyone walk in. They both got up and joined them in the living room. Abby told them what happened after Kristy and JJ left that morning before Junior was taking away
"i'm so cried out that i can't cry anymore" said Abby as Matt comforted her
Everyone was quiet and in their thoughts. Jeff was staring at Abby through out the whole chat
"Abby don't worry you are going to get Junior back"said Amy
"yeah and we will help you"said Shane
"even if it means i have to kick some asses" said Maggie
"give us the names and how they look and me and Maggie will kick their ass" said Anna
Everyone laughed. Then it was quiet again
"you know the two of will have to work on your relationship"
Abby looked up at Jeff " yeah i know"
It was quiet for most of the night. They sat around trying to get away from what was bugging them all but it was still on all their minds
"awwww poor Abby, she's had an exhausting day" said Shannon as he noticed Abby fell asleep while Matt was holding her
Shane got up and carried her in both her and Jeff's room
*A MONTH LATER*
Abby,Maggie,Kristy and Anna were walking down the street when they saw Jeff and Mandy. It didn't bug Abby at all. Jeff looked towards them, then he pulled Mandy in and kissed her

" man you must really hate him now"said Kristy

As they got closer they noticed that Shannon, Matt,Amy, and Shane were with them. They walked by without saying a word or looking at them

Abby kept walking. Maggie,Kristy,and Anna had something else on mind. They stopped right infront of her

As Abby watched them it hit her that they have been acting not like the people they knew. They hardly talk to them, Shane and Maggie have been drifting. Abby wanted to know why. She walked up to them and stood between both groups. She had her back to Amy and them and looked towards Anna

Abby looked at Kristy,Maggie and Anna. Then she turned around " looked you already got knocked on your ass so don't make me do it again. Or maybe i will, make it even so you will have two black eyes. It wouldn't make a difference on your face becauze you look ugly, i mean look at you someone must of hit you with a tha ugly stick, mo like whacked you with tha ugly tree a lotta times"
"well" started Mandy
"shut up" Abby put her hands in her face and walked away

Maggie and Anna were laughing as they ran up to Abby

They walked faster. When they stopped talking for a bit they hurd voices behind them,so they looked back. When they did they found Mandy,Jeff,Matt,Amy,Shane,Shannon and some other people. They started to talk again. They were getting closer to the mall where they had a meeting with someone. Then Abby started to run
"yeah you better run bitch" said Mandy
Kristy,Anna,Maggie and Abby ran towards Junior who was doing the same. Abby picked him and hugged him
"well we will phone you later Abby" said Angela
"yeah ok" said Abby still holding on to Junior
"and remember Jeff is not allowed to see him without making an appointment. Only the four of you have him for the day"

Then Angela left. Mandy came up and spun Abby around. They all had surprised looks on their faces when they saw Abby holding Junior
"look i am kind of busy right now" said Abby " i am making an effort of keeping in touch wit my son and gettin him back" she looked at Kristy " unlike someone" and she looked at Jeff
"let me see my son" said Jeff

We have not hurd from you at all" said Angela " here i forgot to give you this" she said as she past her a paper "that's everything you need to know. Where he is staying, what counselling you have to take and so on"
