Hello, my name is Ron, also known as Hawk Hogan, the world's #1 Hulk Hogan look-a-like, licensed wrestler, and fitness buff. Believe it or not I'm a weight lifter who enjoys weight training 3 to 5 days a week, its part of my life. I have been weight training for the past 11 years and enjoy every minute of it. Age or gender does not make a difference to me when it comes to building a body of 'bricks', or just toning up. My specialty, as far as weight training is, emphasizing the importance of proper form when lifting weights, no matter the weight. Resistance weight training (that is my specialty - the key!), drop sets (another great routine), and having a strong mind concentrating when lifting, "You can do it, but your mind has to be in full control of your body." I am not a quiet, shy person, when it comes to weight training. Motivation is the name of my game, and I'll show you the way to a supreme body structure. My goal for my students is complete success, and a positive attitude that, "You can do it!"
I am a middle aged male, single parent and I own my own business. My past professional background was in the field of manufacturing in the food, printing, and cosmetic industry for 30 years. My role in that career field was in manufacturing equipment maintenance as a line technician and spent 10 of those years in management. 2 years ago I decided to start my own business with my son in landscaping, the business name is Ryan's Landscaping. I was born in Fredrick Maryland I lived my whole life in Baltimore County and Carroll County Maryland. I graduated from high school in 1970 then went directly into the military during the Vietnam era. I have 3 children, Kim, Heather and Ryan. My hobbies include weight lifting, fishing and fooling with computers. Yes, I enjoy watching professional wrestling and have wrestled also with BCWF (Baltimore Championship Wrestling Federation) as Hawk Hogan, I am a licensed wrestler in the state of Maryland. I am 6 ft. 3" and weigh 275 pounds. I am a Hulk Hogan impersonator, I perform at Birthday Parties, Charity Work and other events. (Check out the link in the Other Services section of this page for more details.) My goal in life is to keep healthy and fit by continuing weight training and to spend time with my children and family.
Approximately 11 years ago, I decided to begin a weight training program. I joined a local fitness club which I am still a member of today. The name of the club is Four Seasons Sports Complex which is located near Hampstead, MD. At the time I did not know anything about weight training. I watched others train, asked questions and read many books until I finally found a training program that would fit my particular need. At times I would get frustrated with my program and decided to make some changes, especially do to the fact I was not achieving my goals and got tired of the same old routine. In the past 2 years I have become very active in maintaining my current routine in weight lifting. I found out that using proper form, resistant weight training and drop setting have made my goals come to reality. Two years ago my arm size (Pumped) was 16 and 1/2 " in diameter, currently my arm size (pumped) has almost reached 20 " I am very fond of working out my arms and discovered the proper method that achieved the gains that gave me satisfaction. Eating more protein, taking supplements and maintaining a proper diet was also the key factor, to any successful weight training program. |
