Kriselen.com Interview 2
Hey guys this is Kris with KriSeLen and we are with Dream Street again, hopefully you all saw our first interview with the guys..but now we are going to start on our second one. So what is your favorite memory of the tour so far?
Chris: Probably just performing every night to big crowds, screaming girls and basically fufilling our dreams as performers.
Greg: I remember yesterday...usually before we get on stage our producer gets on the mic and introduces us. He ususally say are you ready for Dream Street, these are five guys from New York...well all you could hear was ehh blds fdjsa (meaning jibberish) So Chris kinda turns to the side and says are you guys ready..five guys from New York..Dream Street. No one really knew it was him.

Now I saw a lot of your fans out there holding gifts for you guys, what is the coolest thing you got from a fan?
Frankie: Our fans that really like us..they give us bracelets and necklaces..with our names engraved in them.
Jesse: Yeah I got a 24k bracelet with my name on it. Greg: This is the best present (holds up his pez)
Matt: A fan actually gave me two courtside tickets to see the sixers
Frankie: Autographed stuff too

There was talk about some kind of movie on your website, can you tell us about that?
Chris: I just did a little movie, hopefully it will come out late summer. Its about a fan who gets to meet one of her idols. I am the only one in it..but yeah its a short film..so if you wanna check it out..thats cool.

If you could date one celebrity our there who would it be?
All: Britney Spears
Matt: Shakira

Oh yeah you guys opened up for Britney right??
All: Yeah

How was that?
Chris: She is really nice
Matt: Shakira

Do you like her new song?
Matt: Well umm I don't really listen to her music..(laughs)

Do you guys have any pre-rituals you do before you get on stage to perform?
Greg: Push-ups
Chris: We run around the arena
Frankie: Do some jogging
Matt: We huddle up and get in the moment.

Now you knew I was going to have to ask this again..Matt last time you said you were married..
Matt: Yeah now I have a kid

Oh really congrats..how old?
Matt: Shes one (of course he was just kidding!)

So yeah is everyone still single?
All: Yeah
Greg: Yeah except for Matt he is married. (laughs)

Aww you just broke some hearts out there.
Matt: Just kidding I am not married (laughs)

What is a the greatest memory in your career so far?
Frankie: Yeah or our very first show at Round About Theater
Jesse: Shooting our music video was great too
Chris: (laughs) Its my laser light.

For those of you who are confused right now let me explain. Since the interview started Chris was shining the laser light into the camera lens. Suzy thought it was the reflection from my ring, so she get elbowing me to stop moving my hands.
Chris: Yeah I have been shining right here (shines the lasers on the video camera lens) I have been doing this the whole time. She kept saying stop it (talking about Suzy saying it to Kris)

So I heard that you guys might be doing something with Play?
Chris: Yeah we hope to do a song with them because they are a really good girl group.
Frankie: Its not really definite, but it could happen.

Have you got to meet them yet?
Frankie: Nope we haven't met them yet.

Yeah we did an interview with them.
Matt: They cool?

Yeah I like their accents
Greg and Matt: Where they from?

Somewhere in Europe I think
Chis: You want to see something really nice that a fan gave..I just opened this (showed a beautiful gold and silver bracelet ) I am going to know wear it. I am going to call her up and say thank you.

Do you guys get to spend time with your tourmates Lindsay and Aaron and what do you guys do?
Jesse: We usually play basketball because Aaron has a basketball hoop backstage. There are cool electric scooters back there too.
Matt: Lindsay has a really good drummer.

How long does it take you to get a dance down? Your fans really love your dancing abilities.
Jesse: It depends on how hard we work.
Frankie: Also on the song.
Greg: Probably a month..
Chris: To perfect it

Oh yeah you are the good dancer huh?
Frankie: Yeah the rest of us our bad

No you guys are good too! (OK before I continue with the interview...I know I know..I sounded rude. Honestly I didn't mean it like that..I only meant that Chris was the one that was really really into dancing. ALL the guys dance good..and they proved that in their show...so yeah..sorry guys I didn't mean to sound rude)

So what advice does Dream Street have for fans that want to break into a singing or actor?
Chirs: Never give up
Frankie: Never give up and stick with it. Get involved..do a play or something.. get yourself out there.

Now since all you guys have been in show business since you were young, who has inspired you to do this?
Jesse: My parents were a big inspiration when I was younger.
Greg: Elvis Presley. I used to watch him on T.V. I always thought it was cool how he has all those girls screaming for him and that fame.
Frankie: There was this old group called Earth, Wind and Fire I always thought they were great. Also these guys have been a great inspiration to me.
Matt: For me it was sublime, they are really great.

Describe a regular day for you guys, from when you wake up to when you go to bed?
Greg: You wake up really early and do your hair, then you get on the bus and drive for 6 or 14 hours..or whatever to the arena.
Frankie: We usually do a signing before the show
Greg: Oh and we do a whole lot of tutoring on the bus
Matt: You can't forget the hot tub..we always go in the hot tub.
Greg: We get in bed by one
Frankie: And do it all over the next day

Now why don't you look into the camera and give a message to all your fans out there
All: We love you guys!
Matt: You guys rock!
Chris: Thank you
Frankie: Hope you like the next album as much as you like the first one.
Jesse: You guys rock..peace.
