this will not follow my normal readme
format because i'm just so fucking tired
of this game:  its been sitting on my
hard drive taking five minuites coding
time from me every month or two since
last christmass.  i don't care if it's
not a smooth game it was only a test in
the first place.  the problem with long
games is they take so fucking long to
beta test...  i've only cleared this
game once myself, and that was a more
basic version.

origin originated from my first attempt
at a pixel*tile engine i made using dqb.
i think i ripped the tiles from the said
drumlins quest, then abandoned but i
may re-open it seeing as i found the plan.
as far as the pixel*tile side of things
went it worked, except for one little
thing and if anyone can find it i'll
give them a lollypop*.  as i've said
before i'm so sick of this entire project
again i can't look at the code without
feeling ill.  this happened to me once
with goodbye, and once already with 
origin and once with my lamission game.

i should probably mention that origin
was intended to be my secret game i
would work on without telling anyone and
release it out of the blue...  this was
before land of the dead and mount cloud
tip prophecy.  a secret game wouldn't
be as spectacular comming from me after
those low budget releases.  i was so
obsessed with the secret bit that i made
the artist who drew the cutscene intro
to remove the pics from his site because
he said he was making them for my game,
called origin...  stupid ignorent me.

i originaly had some demonology 101 art
i ripped from the first issue as the
cartoon cutscene art...  but i'd say
faith would freak, and dpaulius did a
decent job himself anyway.  unfortunatly
i wasn't able to includ the entire pics
he sent me, but look out for the special
edition release of origin, which will
include all concept artwork, a making of 
special, directer comentary and yes i've 
just got a dvd player.

the actual game plays like most other
qbrpgs: up is up, down is down, left is
left, right is right.

Enter is select a menue/open stat screen
and if there are a list of choices preceded
by a number, press that number to select
the choice, or if there is a list with
a letter in each choice in brackets
(parenthises for all the yanks out there)
press that to select it.  f1 saves your
game and esc quits without warning.

the story is ment to speak for itself,
so i'll let it, but again, like mount
cloudtip, this is planned to be an ultra
corney and steriotypical story...  i hope
you'll get why.

thats all i can think about saying now
as i have mentioned i will do a "the making
of origin" on the website with all dpaulius's
art included, and maybe faith's, so check
back.  i know this game is a little raw,
but i've got to get into the frame of mind
for releasing things soon.

if there are any bugs tell me and i will 
fix them, contrary to what i said earlier.
