| The start of the Korean War in June 25, 1950. It was a fight against communism and democracy. So then Korea splited in half, The North became communism and the South means democracy. Communism meaning the term there is only one leader like today, Saddam Hussien. Democracy meaning that it has freedom like in America where many people will be able to have their equal rights. One side wanted equality and the other wanted one leader that will control over the whole nation. United States joined the Democracy side because we believed that all people must live as one and all people must be free and no have just one leader in charge of the whole nation. America feared communism and wanted equality for all. | ||||||
