This is a house owned by the town. It is a house which dates back to the civil war times. It has had several uses over the time it has existed. The entire area has a history rich with Civil War battles. When they say George Washington slept here areound here it could be true. Infact in Winchester a nearby town Washington's Office is open to the public. Winchester was actually the capitlol of the USA for a very short time or so I'm told. I've never really been much of a history buff but if youare you would certainly enjoy this area. Anyway, the spacious lawn  hosts a Halloween party for the neighborhood children, Memorial Day  and Christmas parade seating, and numerous concerts by local bands. Through the summer I can sit in my drive way and listen to the music.
