Pride There are times we share that are terribly sad,
But a good strong family gets through all the bad.
You trust each other and show genuine caring,
Our emotions, thoughts and feelings we are always sharing.
The residents, like our children, give us a place in their heart,
We love them all back by always doing our part,
To make sure they grow in every possible way,
To show us their strengths and sometimes to play.
Muzzy on the mower laughing with such glee,
Yells at me across the yard, "Hey! You! Look at me!"
Mike M surprised me one day by looking at me and saying "Hi!"
I was so proud of him that I felt I could fly.
We know in our hearts all the good that we do,
We see the results the whole year through.
Then people with no hearts, and obviously no feelings,
Send our tempers soaring right through the ceiling.
But we have learned to be willows and bend with the storm,
We look for all the good things to keep our hearts warm.
Other say things of us, we know someone has lied,
We know we do good and are filled with great pride!!!
