9/27/2005: An interesting quip: One sometimes feels as though one has used the word "one" one too many times in one sentence. Spanish is becoming really fun. I stopped by the library today and looked at some of the Spanish language books. I can understand some of it! My job went funny today. Before school I stopped in to get my schedule worked out for the job, and it turns out the manager had gotten my papers mixed up with another applicant's. It was annoying how she kept calling me Alex instead of David. If she had seen us together she would be able to tell us apart instantly: He is short, a year younger, and has very short platinum blond hair, and I am tall enough to hit the sign that nobody else cares about with "lustrous red locks of hair". Anyway, she lost one of my papers and I have to make another copy. At least I got lunch for free -- I qualify for the free lunch program. Relations are going well with the girl I like, (name withheld to protect confidentiality), and my sister wants the computer. The pie did not explode, and I have to rewrite my essay AGAIN. Not to mention that she only just now gave us new criteria. All for today.

9/26/2005: Monday. Yipee. Back to school. But, in English, I got a chance to redeem myself. See, back in January, I took a writing test as part of the IB exam so I could get into the IB program (and out of my home school). I did miserably. On a scale of 2 to 6, with a 4 needed to pass, I got a 3. I was feeling pretty bad that day. See, at Dexter, I had this crush on this one girl since sixth grade. She hated my guts, and I failed to see that and give up. The previous day some boys managed to get her to over to talk to me. My wits deserted me (as they often did when it came to her), and it didn't go too well. I was a friggin' wreck for the next couple of days, including this test. Well, today I got to look back at my writing sample and it was pure CARP! No lead, no thesis, 7 spelling errors which I should have known better about, and only 4 paragraphs, not to mention that the content was rehashing the story all over again like de ja vu and the conclusion sucked. And now I get to try again! Thank your holy diety! Mrs. Oliver had looked over the first one and let me into the IB program anyway because my math score was so amazing, but she would have given the essay a two on a scale of 2 to 6. Repentance is near. Speaking of which, I need to actually write it. All for today, unless the pie in the oven explodes.

9/25/2005: Yay, I created the blog page. I have SO little time to work on my site. I've got homework, and I've been at a Buzz game site thing. Yahoo! Music stock gets the best dividends so far. Get more later.
