Friendships that Last -
My good friends Xiuling, Joanne and Qingwei. This photo wasn't taken that
long ago. In fact it was taken in 1999, during Qingwei's birthday. However,
our friendship stretches all the way back to our secondary school days in
Dunman High when we were classmates in Secondary One. Throughout the years,
our friendship has remained, despite the different paths our lives have
taken, and this friendship has become a treasure to be cherished. Rite pple??? |

Chinese Orchestra Zhonghu Players- This
photo was taken on our 1994 China tour, where we performed in Guangzhou
and Zhanjiang. Not all the zhonghu players went. One of our group, Huimin
is missing. The tour seemed so many years ago, and frankly, I have lost
touch with almost all the people in the photo. A couple of them I do meet
occasionally in university, but other than a hurried "hi-bye, how are you
doing", there seems to be nothing more to be said, busy as we all are with
our own lives. |

1995 Class 4H - The
photo that all graduating Duman High classes will take, particularly
when we know that the old school building will be torn down and we will
be shifting to new buildings. The pavilion at which this photo is taken
is now gone, but for the DHS students who had studied in the old school
buildings, this pavilion is as much a feature of Dunman High as the school
crest. |
