New York City
New York City is one of my favorite places to visit.  I love the fact that I am just a short 30 minute train ride away!  When family and friends visit, I love to be the tour guide!  I am actually getting better with the subway!  Below are links to visits with family and friends

The first big visit I had was my sister coming for Thanksgiving in 2002.  We stayed in the city and went to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.  It was 20 degrees and we froze!  We found a great place to stand for the parade, in front of a Starbucks in Times Square. We took turns going in to warm up and get latte's.

The second visit is the fist one below. Mom, Sue, and my friend Debbie Euirich, came for Thanksgiving in 2004. A long time family friend, and former vet tech for dad, Chris Crossley, visited from PA also.  It was our first Thanksgiving without dad, we had no desire to stay home... our cook was no longer with us. Quite a different weekend, it was 60 degrees for the parade!
Me, Sue, Debbie.
