Computer Game Reviews
HeXen
- Graphics could be sharper, otherwise okay
- Plot not specified - no obvious mission
- VIOLENT, but does have parental warning
- Choice of characters: good
- Music/Sound: good
- Controls: easy
- Mouse sensitivity option is good

Tomb Raider:
- Appropriate for both guys and gals
- Lots of Action
- Time Consuming
- CAN save games
- Multiple Levels can be challenging
- Goal is unknown
- NOT educational at all

Electronic Sensory Chess:
It was difficult, because it caught everything.  Real, traditional chess is much more exciting.  You don't always catch stuff, and you can play with people at your level who know you and talk to you.  Its fun to get a rush of excitement when you realize your queen is in danger, or your rook is stolen.  With the sensory set, you have to play both sides and you know that if your bishop is endangered, it's as good as extinct.  There are multiple levels of difficulty and a few girls could be the computer when it was on the easiest level.

Online Spades (through zone.com)
-Challenge: Good, it's not impossible to beat, but you won't win every time
-Rating:  Good for anyone who is at least 10 and knows how to play Spades
-Options:  You send messages to the other players, but you can only send the messages they have on the sites
-Education: Some, but not a lot, so it is still fun.
-Attention Span: A couple of hours if you switch players, about an hour if not.
-Sound:  None
- Cost: None
-Multiple levels: Yes, but you have to know how to access them

Another view of Online Spades:
Online Spades has an accuarate and helpful Help menu.  The plot of Spades is to get as many tricks (points) as possible.  Ratings (are or should be) for 7 and up.  There are no sound effects.  It does have a very good challenge because it shows how to learn to estimate properly.  It isn't impossible.  It is educational because it shows teamwork.  It has multiple levels according to who is playing.  It is extremely easy to use.  It keeps your full attention span because it is exciting.
Computer Monopoly:
Monopoly on the computer is exactly like the board game except it is a little easier.  There is abolutely no mess and rolling the dice is a cinch.  The computer also gives a choice of boards to play and what rules you want to play by.  I recommend computer Monopoly, it's fun.
