X-wing Chest Box detail kit

The detail kit consists of 1 set of 3 three switches, small and large knob,
5 1" squares, snap stud, black decal sheet cut to size, 36" of 1/16"
white liner tape, and paper reinforcing washer along with a spare. Interesting
to note, the "snap" in the two film used chest boxes shown below do not
use a snap stud, one has half of a grommet, and the other has a metal washer.
Resin cast parts

All of the parts are cast in instacast resin. The knobs cast with aluminum
bronzing powder, so they do not need to be painted. The switches are cast
as a single block. This is to assist in mounting strength and alignment.
They have a .04 gap between them, so they can easily be taped off for painting,
or cut into separate parts with a razor saw. I've also tooled up an alternate
style "slant" switch. These are sometimes seen on X-wing chest boxes in
the middle of two standard switches. I'll be including a casting of one
of these as well. This well require that the middle switch be removed form
the block and replaced with the slanted switch.

The black sheet can either be placed before painting, to use as a mask.
Or after painting the box tool grey, to create the black area of the chest
box. The black area should be placed 1/4" away from the left edge of the
chest box, and centered top to bottom. After painting, the switches are
placed next, these should be center over the 2 notches and 1-1/8" above
the bottom edge of the face plate. The 1/16" liner tape is then used to
edge all the black area, and to create a 2.5"x2.5" square above the switches.
The acrylic squares are added next, with at least 1/8" between them. The
paper washer is self adhesive. The location of the knobs varies from one
chest box to another. As does the smaller knob in relation to the lager.
Most are centered on the lager knob. And the snap stud is placed anywhere
from 1/4" to 3/4" to the lower left of the large knob.
