| Now that you are a master at area and perimeter, you are going to use this knowledge to design a landscape scene (mountains with a sunrise, desert with cacti, ocean with a boat on it, etc...). This scene must have all the basic shapes discussed in this unit (square, rectangle, parallelogram, circle and triangle). In the landscape scene, three of the objects that you are creating must be made using more than two different shapes. For these objects, you must calculate the total area and perimeter. Partial shapes, like half circles are allowed. Use the different coloured construction paper provided to make the scene colourful..
