Part 15

He reached for her but she moved back so he couldn't reach her. She jumped off.   She ran over to the other side of the pool and said "Caught me if you can."
He got off the board and took off running for her. She dove in right when he got close to her. She swam underwater to the middle of the pool and she came up for air and he was right across on the edge. She smiled and said "Come and get me."
He dove in and she swam over to the side to get out, but he grabbed her feet and threw her back into the pool. She started laughing when she came up for air.   He swam over to her and grabbed ahold of her waist. He held her so tight that she wasn't going to get away from him. He started kissing her neck and moved to her shoulder. He moved her hair away. She wrapped her legs around him and whispered in his ear "Take me now Josh, Take me now."
He leaned back and looked in her eyes. He moved her over to the edge. She put her arms on the edge. He grabbed her breasts and kissed them. He did as he was told and made love to her in the pool.   When they were finished he carried her to the bedroom and they went for round two. When they were finished she got up and took a shower. He joined her in the shower. They washed each other with soap.    He lathered her hair up and started kissing her body.   He looked at her and smiled. She could read his mind and said "No, not round three.   I'm tired tomorrow okay."
"Okay, okay, not tonight. Can I ask you a question?" he said.
"Sure what?" she said
"Why did you use a condom with River and not me?"
She looked at him and her face got sober and said "What made you say that?"
"Nothing it's just that he told me that you put a condom on with your mouth. I was just wondering." he said.
"I don't know I just did. Something told me to have him wear one." she said.
Shawnie rinsed her hair and shut the water off. She grabbed a towel and got out.
Josh leaned again the wall kicking himself for even bring up River. Josh dried off and went to bed. Shawnie was laying on her side. He could tell that she was on the verge of crying. Josh got in and rolled her toward him and said "I'm sorry honey for bring up River. I wasn't thinking."
"Don't worry about it." she said sniffing.
"Shawn, I didn't mean to make you cry. I was just wondering that's all. I shouldn't have brought it up." he apolozied.
She looked up at him and said "I quess part of me knew that he wasn't you, because I knew that I didn't go to the festival, and I knew that you were at every swimming match, and he didn't know that much about me. He didn't even know that my parents had gotten killed. So I knew that it wasn't you. I was just testing him I quess. Why do you think that I am still here? I would have left a long time ago."
He started laughing and said "That's why I love you."
She laid her head down on his chest. She was soon asleep. Josh moved her so she would wake up and went to the kitchen to find something to eat. He grabbed a bag of chips and went to the den to watch a movie. He wasn't in there very long and Shawnie walked in and sat down beside him.    He looked at her and said "What are you doing?"
"Watching a movie with you what's it look like I'm doing." she said smiling.
"I thought you were in bed asleep." he asked her.
"Nope, I couldn't sleep." she said laughing.
"I don't know about you." he said kissing her head.
"So what movie are we going to watch?" she asked.
"Well let's see here. I was just going to pick on random. What do you want to watch?" he asked.
"I don't care pick on random." she said.
He picked a movie and they started watching it.
After the movie was over Shawnie looked at Josh and said "We have to talk."
Josh didn't like the look on her face, but he wanted to know so he asked "What about?"
"Me and you." she said.
"What about me and you?" he asked.
"Well you know that I can't stay here forever. I have to go home sometime." she said.
"No you don't. You and I can stay here for the rest of our lives and live happily ever after." he said.
"Josh be serious. I do have to go home." she said.
"I know but I like being your hero. I love having you stay here." he said.
"I think that I should go home tomorrow." she said.
"No, why don't you stay here until the end of the week." he said.
"I need to get home and go school shopping." she said.
"We can go shopping together." he said.
"Josh you are making this harder than it is suppost to be." she said.
"Okay I know I am. But we can still go shopping together. You can stay until the end of the week and then you can go home." he said.
Shawnie looked up at him and said "You are to good to me."
He kissed her head and said "I know."
She got up and said "Well I'm going to bed now."
He followed her to the bed room.
She got in and waited for him.
When he got in he said "I can't believe that school is started in three weeks."
"I know I can't either. We are going to be seniors." she said as she laid her head down on his shoulder.
Josh hugged her and they fell asleep.

They were awaken by the phone ringing. Josh went to answer it. He brought the phone into Shawnie and said "It's Skeet."
Shawnie took the phone. When she hung up she looked at Josh and said "I have to get home. Grant found something that we aren't going to like."
Shawnie started getting dressed. Josh got dressed faster than she did.
When they got to the house Grant met them outside. Shawnie looked at him and said "What is it?"
"Let's go inside and talk." he said to her.
He led her to the den and said "You guys are losing your money."
"What?" Shawnie and Skeet said together.
"You are losing you money because your lawyer put the money in a trust fund that you can't get into until your twenty-one."
"Well can't you go to the courts and tell them that he was trying to scam us." Shawnie asked.
"I can but I don't think it will do any good." Grant said.
"You better do something, because we start school soon and we have to shop for supplies and clothes. We have to pay our bills. Then we start college. We need that money. That is ours not his." Shawnie said to him
"Look I know the judge so I can go to him and tell him what is going on. I'll see what I can do okay." Grant said.
