Ahhhhh....Willow. I can't help but think of D&D when I think of Willow. In an attempt to keep us little kids from begging to play D&D, one of my dad's friends brought Willow, the movie to keep us occupied. We were but young sprats then. Even now, I love to watch the movie. The warthog/dog things don't scare me as bad anymore either. Anyhow, I digress. Magic, Mad Martigan and Midgets. A great combination if you ask me. And they all start in 'M' (cue "Twilight Zone" Theme). Also, the swords all the bad guys used were ultra sweet. They had like, saw blades down one side. Could you imagine getting one of those stuck through you? Ouch. Pretty solid movie too. Val Kilmer is pretty good, and it is one of Warwick Davis' best performances by far. All in all, a 7.5 on the D&D rating of Radness scale. |
