OK, besides being the basis of just about every fantasy roleplaying world, and one of the first and still greatest fantasy stories of all time, the movies ROCKED!!! Sure, sure, they didn't follow the story line to a 'T', but who can blame them? As is, the movies were still incredible. Great acting, the scenery and music scores were just impecable and the battles, oh yes the battles. Every time I see those movies, I have to play D&D. My soul yearns for a good old fasioned session of my favorite hobby. Knitting. Oh, wait, I mean D&D, sorry. Anyway, I love the flicks, everyone I know at least likes them, accept Jeriah, who was livid that the didn't follow the exact story line. Ahhh...who cares. It's still a good time, right? |
