Technical and Historical Notes
With the outbreak of war, the Earth Alliance's Atlantic federation begins a secret project to develop mobile suits to counter ZAFT's mass produced mobile suits as well as operate free of interference from the N-Jammers. The GAT-X207L was a variation of the orginal GAT-X207 suited for storming colonies and PLANTS, as well as its special ability to sustain a low level of flight.Lacking the Phase shift armour capability like the other gundams from the GAT series, the Lightning Blitz was unpopular and only one prototype was made.
