		This Rulebook is still a work in progress and some game funtions are still being worked out. It has been displayed here to help give an idea of how the game will work and the general idea behind it. All suggestions on changes or how certian asspects could funtion are welcomed. At the present moment, the full rulebook has not be uploaded.

Intro The land was once united in peace after the leaders of all the worlds had formed an alliance. The leaders are now missing and the worlds have sunken back into chaos as mistrust and accusations of betrayal spread. In this world, you are a Warlord and many have come to follow you including your most trusted generals. On you must fight, to destroy and dominate the other clans, so that the land may once again be unified and in peace, or at least what you consider peace. After all, only you know what your true motives are. How to win The objective of the game is to kill the Warlord on all opposing forces. The Warlord on each force is the controlling player. When a player or group of allied players kills all of the opposing Warlords, the remaining player(s) are declared the winners. Set-Up Each player will take turns placing one location in play. Four locations are placed into play as a Battlefield. One location will be placed into play as a Home base. A duplicate of a location already in play cannot be put into play. Some locations can only be played as a Battlefield or only as a Home base. The four locations you place and your home base start under your control. Each player starts with five Warriors which they place in front of them. Place a token on each character and a matching token on the location where that warrior will start. Then, each player places their draw pile next to them. The Deck may contain Tactic, Item, and Minion cards. Warrior cards may not be included in the deck and a player may only use the five Warrior cards with which they start the game. Each player must use exactly five Warrior cards. Each Warlord, or player, now spends the 10 starting talent points on themselves and assign 20 stats to themselves. (Stat cards should be used to mark this.) Any Plot cards that are used are now placed in front of the playing Warlord. The turn order of the players is now decided. It is recommended that each player rolls a die and that the turn order goes clockwise starting with the highest roller. There is also a pile that may come into play throughout the game that begins empty: the Portal pile. (This pile will be explained more later.) Any cards that are discarded from play that began in the Deck are placed in the discard pile. If a Warrior is killed or a Plot card is discarded, that card is set to the side. It can only be brought back into play by an effect the specifically does so. The Cards Warlord The Warlord of each force is the player themselves. The Warlord receives talent points and may play cards and attack like the Warriors. To attack or play cards, unless a card otherwise states, the Warlord must �enter� battle. A Warlord may �enter� or �exit� battle as many times as they wish during their turn. When a Warlord is in battle (after �entering� and before �exiting� battle.), it may attack, play cards, be attacked, have cards played against it, or be targeted by an effect (at the appropriate time) like any Warrior card. A Warlord may play item cards, even outside of battle. If a card says �Choose a Warlord� or �Target Warlord,� Warlords that are outside of battle may be targeted as well as Warlords that are in battle. If all of the Warriors in a Warlord�s force are out of played, i.e. �dead�, then the Warlord must enter battle immediately. A Warlord must enter battle through its Home base, but may exit battle at any location (even if it doesn�t control it). As long as a Warlord does not have a Warrior that they control in play, that Warlord may not leave battle. A Warlord is killed when their health reaches zero. When a Warlord is killed, they lose and all of their own Warriors and Minions under their control are removed from play. Warrior Warriors are the characters that protect the Warlord and help fight the battle. Each force will have five warriors. Warriors attack other Warriors, Minions, and Warlords. Every Warrior has four stats: health, attack, defense, and command. These four stats may be increased when a character levels. There is a fifth stat that can only increased or decreased by card effects: corruption. Health is how much endurance the warrior has. When a Warrior�s health reaches zero, that Warrior is killed. All cards attached to it are discarded and it is placed to the side. It may be possible for a Warrior to come back into play after it is killed. If a Warrior does so, it returns with all of its assigned talent points and stats (but with no cards that were discarded from it). Corruption is how villainous the Warrior is. Some are very pure and some are heinous backstabbers and some will change from one to the other throughout the battle. The Corruption stat on a Warrior�s card is its starting corruption level. Some cards will increase or decrease this number. Some cards or effects can only be used by characters with a Corruption score within a certain range. The lowest possible Corruption level is 0 and the highest possible Corruption level is 10. However, once a Warrior, Warlord, or Minion has had a corruption level higher than 0, even if it started with a Corruption level above 0, the lowest Corruption level it can reach is 1. Corruption being high or low is not necessarily good or bad; there are just certain actions and effects that wouldn�t logically be done by warriors on the opposite sides of the spectrums and Corruption level compensates for that. Each warrior starts with up to three different talents. Each of these talents will have starting talent points (which should add up to 5 total). Some Warrior cards also have special abilities; a full description of how the ability works is printed on the card. <pic> 1. Name of the Warrior 2. Artwork 3. Flavor text (which has no effect for the game) Minion Minions are reinforcements that show up to help in the fight or creatures that are summoned into the battle. Minions can attack other Minions, Warriors and (in-battle) Warlords. Every minion will have a health stat. When a minion�s health reaches zero it is killed and placed in the discard pile. Minions can vary quite a bit and a Minion may or may not have a special ability, a corruption stat, or talent points. Talent points may not be assigned to a Minion, unless an effect such as a special ability allows it to receive talent points. <pic> 1. Name of the Minion 2. Artwork 3. Flavor text (which has no effect for the game) Tactic Tactic cards are varies strategies your force uses and the different events that occur during battle. They represent the ever changing tide of war. A Tactic may be played from hand at any time. <pic> 1. Name of the Tactic 2. Artwork 3. How the Tactic works 4. An item may be played from hand onto any Warrior you control or your Warlord. Item cards are attached to the character onto whom they are played. If an item has requirements, it may only be attached to a character that fulfills those requirements. Some items require the usage of a body part. Flavor text (which has no effect for the game) Plot Plot cards are played at the beginning of the game during set-up. Within its text, a plot card will state its requirements in order to be played. Plot cards have varies effect on the game and can only be targeted by cards or effects the specifically say they target Plot cards. 1. Name of the Plot 2. Artwork 3. How the Plot card works 4. These are the places where the new forces battle or have taken refuge. Where a battle is fought can greatly effect it�s outcome. 1. Name of the Location 2. Artwork 3. Flavor text (which has no effect for the game) Turn Order When a player�s turn begins that player does the following. First, that player draws a card from the Deck. The player may play cards and/or attack with Warriors, Minions, or Warlord (if in-battle). The player may also move any of its forces. The player may play as many playable cards as they wish and may attack with as many of their character that may attack. Each character may only attack once per turn. After the player has finished making the actions they wish, they declare the end of their turn and it becomes the next player�s turn. Attacking To attack, first declare which character is attacking and which character is being attacked. Follow the instructions on the attack card if any. You may need to roll a die or dice. If so, follow the instructions of the result. Compare the attack value of the attacker to the defense value of defender. (Add modifiers.) If the attack value of the attack is not greater than the value of the defense, the attack does no damage and has no effects on the target. If the attack value is greater, the attack is successful and deals one point of damage. Every attack will only deal one point unless effect changes damage dealt. Movement Each character may move during their controller�s turn. A character may move from the location where it is to a location that is in the same world. Once per turn, a force may open a �portal� at one location to another location. Any of the forces that player controls may move through that portal, but the portal may only be used once and all forces that use the portal must move through it at the same time. A character may move before it attacks or after it attacks, but not both. It is possible for a character to move from one location to another location in the same world, use the portal for the turn to move to a location on a different world, and then move to a different location on that same world. Controlling Battlefields A player or force controls a Battlefield if it controls all characters at that location. The four locations a player places during set-up start under their control. If a Battlefield has no forces in it, it is controlled by the last player to have forces in it. Characters may move into Battlefields that they do not control. When a force moves into a location it does not control, control of that location remains with the controlling player. If a player controls any of its starting four battlefields, forces controlled by other players can not move into its Home base. If all four Battlefields that started under a player�s control are no longer under that player�s control, even if they are controlled by different players, then other players may move into that Home base. Deck Construction Each player must build a 40-card deck. You may include more than 40 cards if you wish. Each deck will also have five Warrior cards and a pile of Location cards. You must have five locations in the pile for each player so that a board of unique locations can be built. There may be up to three copies of each card in your deck except for cards that have printed limits such as �One Per Deck.� Command To determine the �command� you have at a location, add up the totals of the command stat on all Warriors you control at that location. The force that has the highest command at a location has �Command� over that location. Leveling When a Warrior levels, you may increase one stat by 1 (use stat cards) and increase the rank of one talent by 1. You may give that Warrior a new talent at rank 1 by using this. Only Warriors and Warlords may level or gain experience. A Warrior gains a level when it gains 5 experience points. When a Warrior gains 5 or more experience points, level it and decrease its experience points by 5. When a Warrior attacks and kills a Minion, that Warrior gains 1 experience point. When a Warrior attacks and kills another Warrior, that Warrior gains 5 experience points. When a battlefield is captured, that is one force loses control when another gains control, 10 experience points are gained; those points may be divided up among the Warriors at the captured location as the player wishes.
