LastHope Background
The Beginning...
Eons ago, a group of legendary warriors approached a small town of randol. The legendary Rogue, RavaNa was created. This rogue built the foundation of the LastHope guild we all know and love. As RavaNa recruited and recruited, the LastHope family grew stronger and stronger. The HighScores list was filled with LastHope guild number one in every character class. It seemed as if nothing or no one could stand in RavaNa and LastHope's path. Until.... TheOne was formed.
Guild Rivalry
Run by former leader of Vendetta guild and rival to all LastHope members, Dori posed a threat to the LastHope guild. As both TheOne and LastHope guilds continually competed against one another, tensions arose. Due to there being only two maps at the time: Randol and Dratan, both guilds looked to find the best spot to train. As each guild reached higher and higher levels, Dg Island was the only place to gain good exp. The DG Island we all know of was turned into a bloody battlefield. Both guilds began slaying each other constantly. The two top guilds in game clashing against one another provided constant entertainment daily. It was accepted back then, no one considered it griefing at all, and no one had a problem with being pked. The fights went on for what seemed forever. Both guilds started becoming clever. Tired of facing harsh penalties of going red named, both guilds began luring Baal on each other. This was perfectly legal during the time. It was carnage is all I can say. Baal would come unexpectedly now and then with some enemy guild luring onto us. It was exciting and everyone had to be alert at all times. The level cap during this time was set to level 38 only. Members of both guilds quickly approached level 38 and boredom came. Tensions rose even higher as players who reached the level cap kept pking and luring members of the opposite guild. A guild war was inevitable.
The War Begins
Both sides agreed on a guild war. TheOne had 10 rogues in the fight plus more members. LastHope only had 1 rogue that entered the war, RavaNa. During the first phase of the war, TheOne dominated. Going up on LastHope by as many as 10 frags! LastHope had to regroup or they would have no chance of making a comeback. RavaNa gathered the troops together and came up with a method of Focus Fire. This strategy worked to perfection. He would yell to attack so and so and the guild would all kill that target fast. This turned the war around. LastHope quickly caught up and even jumped ahead of TheOne with under 1 minute to go. But Do not count TheOne and Dori out. They quickly tied the score up with under 20 seconds to go. What happened next was shocking. Bodies falling left and right, the clock ticking down, frags going up and up. The fight had ended. Players exhausted and worn out from the battle were glad it ended. It was a tough battle and took ages for LastHope guild to even catch up in frags. But in the end, LastHope guild wins! Pics from war are below
The Release of Merac
With LastHope nearly untouchable and dominating every other guild and the ranking system, this family like guild entered a vast, new map, called "merac caron." Everyone grew excited to take on this new challenge. A long wait indeed. Most of our members hit the level 38 cap and were waiting patiently for the release of this new map. We prepared well for this new challenge by recruiting a few new healers. We knew if we wanted to level quickly and stay alive, healers were a necessity. One of these new healers changed the face of LastChaos and theLastHope guild forever. What I will write next is very painful and upsetting. -.-
The DownFall of LastHope Guild
On a normal day in the fields of Merac Caron, six members, including Guild Leader RavaNa and one of the new healers decided to go on a training session. What they did not know was someone was invisible spying on them. This spy saw the healer in the party on top of a hill healing. He found it quite suspicous so he contacted a GameMaster. RavaNa and party are training away, grinding and grinding. Then, out of nowhere. A system message made by the GameMaster stating "RavaNa and party will be banned." All chaos and confusion broke out in guild chat. Everyone so upset that RavaNa was singled out. The gms eventually apologized, but they still banned RavaNa for 3 whole days. The healer was permanetly banned also. What happened you ask? The gms thought the healer, who spoke only portugese, was afk healing. Inside the party was the healer's husband, Psylon. He helps her translate and play the game. Unfortunately the gms did not believe the story. Shortly after RavaNa was banned. The whole guild fell apart. 20 of the original LastHope members and 20 of top players in game at the time quit the game. Several went to one game, the others to another. Taksor, Emery, Magelula, Sindicate, frooz, furgas, and IxXShadowXxI were the only one's who remained. Eventually Shadow, Furgas, Frooz, Sindicate all left to start GuardiansOfDemons guild. As for Emery, Taksor , and Magelula, they stayed in the guild. They did not train for 3 weeks after that awful day. Then, the gms had trouble with servers. They made a 2.5x exp for 24 hours! Emery, Taksor, and Lula quickly decided to play the event and gained 200% experience together that day. If it were not for that event, The end of LastHope guild would have very well come.
LastHope Rebuilds!
The three members began recruiting. It would take a long time to rebuild and become strong again. During the rebuilding phase, the item mall finally came out. Taksor, upset by the selling of heaven stones and other item mall items, decided to quit. A huge blow to Emery, as Taksor was his best friend. Luckily, Magelula found and recruited DemonTitan who was well known amongst the lastchaos community as a trouble maker. Lula ignored all negativety and took a chance on DemonTitan. Demon helped to make LastHope guild one of the strongest guilds once again. He recruited many high level members to the guild and provided superb leadership in wars. Though he still whines a lot, his pking skills and war tactics are his best qualities. Without him, LastHope guild would not be the same and all other guilds could easily bully us.
LastHope Lives On....
Currently LastHope continues to function. I just have one question for you all. If twenty of your closest and best friends quit all at once, what would you do? Also, if anyone ever mentions LastHope guild is falling apart, I just laugh as they do not know the past.
