The topic of this page if you havent read the top
is that I like to talk about mascots!
Hahaha nope, not that kind!
Getting closer....
A WINNER IS YOU
That is correct, company mascots are the most memorable AND important part
of that company products shelflife. With such big companies like Costco and Walmart at each others necks,
it is important for any company to get their products out there for everyone to enjoy.
And what better way then with a memorable character? You may think that you could just have a good slogan, right?

Remember a couple years ago, watching that Pepsiman commercial where he falls off of the mountain on skis?
What did you want after?
Pepsiman showed us the power of advertising, so much so that there are rumors that a Pepsiman video game
will be coming out for Sony's Playstation! Wouldn't that be neat if it was so good that it rivaled Nintendo's Super Mario 64?
I still have not finished it even if though it came out two years ago.
I will choose only a few mascots and talk a little about them

Nintendo
Mario
Nintendo has made one of the most famous mascots of the 20th century, rivaling Mickey Mouse and Cracker Jack, and
the idea of Mario has only been alive for 18 years (starting with Donkey Kong)! Mario saves Princess Toadstool with every
adventure that he goes through and each adventure gets even better than before! Who knows, maybe Mario one day will go
into space! Mario is also my own personal favorite mascot of all time! I refuse to get the Dreamcast after getting screwed over
by the Sega Saturn.
Honorable Mentions
Waluigi
With Nintendo's new game, Mario Tennis, it seems clear that they "intendo" to replace Mario with the newer, taller version known
as "Waluigi". After they failed this attempt with Wario, who they are still making games for on the Game Boy (Wario Land 2).
Waluigi is a very cool character who signifies "change". He shoots fire from his eyes, is tall and intimidating, and wears purple.

Planters
Mr. Peanut was designed in 1916 by a 14 year old named Antonio Gentile who designed a peanut man named
Mr. Peanut. After a few more accessories added to him, Mr. Peanut was born! This is the perfect mascot design.
The company makes peanuts, make the body a peanut with a great looking design, stylish yet classy. Props to Planters for making
such a great design!

Pepsiman
If you happened to read the text towards the top
You would probably have guessed that I think that Pepsiman is one of the best mascots I have ever seen. Pepsiman was made by
Pepsi a couple years ago and has not disappointed us yet! He saves the day, suffers a blow, and goes back for more! Now
that's a true hero. His motives? TO SAVE THE WORLD FROM VILE OVERRATED FALSE PROPHET COLA! Pepsiman has become so
popular, that he shall soon become the star of his hopefully successful video game line for the Playstation! Judging by this
screenshot, it is suspected that it will take a Crash Bandicoot styled gameplay, which seems likely since Crash is the
mascot for the Playstation.
You did good Pepsi, you did good.
