Input panel - ballistic computer add-on

The add-on input panel is a free standing unit with adjustable base. The
friction knobs on the side of the unit hold the user defined angle of the
panel.

The input panel will ship with variety of keypad overlays that simulate
popular instrumentation layouts for "mechs" and popular main battle
tanks. The Abrams layout is currently featured in the illustration.
Under the overlay is a grid of "blister" buttons. Each button can be
reassigned via software to perform a function or series of functions via
the included software.

An earlier version of the MBTAS included an integrated switch unit.
However the general consensus among the online tank sim community
was that the integrated setup did not offer enough flexibility. This option
is still viable for the military units worldwide that have expressed interest
in the MBTAS project.
