| Each card is handmade by Andrew Wright: "I started making cards for my BB Queen's Badge skill requirement and now I have developed it into a hobby and small business." In early 2004 I (Andrew Wright) began making greeting cards for my BB Queen's Badge skill requirement. Over summer I spent a lot of time, and money developing my hobby into a business. Since then I have invested hundreds of pounds and have sold approximately 500 cards, including over 100 Christmas cards. Each week I spend hours making more batches of uniquely designed, handcrafted cards. The website has been remodeled and the shop displaybox remade to make the cards even more appealing. On request the cards can be personalised with a name, or cards can be made with particular colours and themes if requested (please see me in person for personalised cards). Due to the small scale of the business I have spent little money on advertising so I rely on word of mouth to spread the word. | Welcome to my new look site! Due to increasing popularity of elf 1 cards I have donated more time to the business, and because it's a new year I thought elf 1 deserved a makeover! The shop now presents the cards in a decorated box which lets you see some of my designs and ideas. This website has been brightened-up and condensed to one main page. A new range of cards were delivered to the shop on Monday 7th of February after I spent many hours making cards with my latest order of materials. Yet more money has been invested into elf 1 to continually improve the selection and quality of cards. |
