Yahiko was born under that of the Full moon. His parents nodded with approve of the chance they might gain a new Fist for the clan. Yahiko was the 3rd child to his family so he was named Saburo by tradition as his childhood name. Saburo grew up under private tutors, as well as attending public school till high school, and was taught that of the Beast Courts as well and about the clan and mostly about his proud samurai heritage. Saburo was trained as a Fist even if he was not to change or not as was the way of the clan. When it was predicted he would change his family were excited and on his 14th birthday as per tradition he was given his adult name of Yahiko granting him the honor of having "HIK" in his name after the famous Ashikaga Shogunate. Yahiko also means "Full of virtue and skill" as to show his family's pride in him. Yahiko at the age of 17 was put under the wing of his cousin Kenkaku who was also one of the gumi's heads. Under Kenkaku he learned much of the ways of the sword. Under his father he learned how to survive in court and live in the shadows. One day Yahiko was taken before his grandfather and his father. He was chained and accused as a traitor and members of a rival federation who had been captured were set free to beat Yahiko with poles. As he was being beaten his anger welled in him. The disgrace of being called a traitor and the fact that Federation goons were getting the honor of killing. The anger was too much and he Raged. Breaking the chains and slaughting those near him. His father jumped in when the last federation member was killed and knocked Yahiko out. He was taught how to control himself and such things. It was when Yahiko passed his Gempuku his father passed him the family weapons. Yahiko stayed within the family house to further his training until one day his grandfather approached him and told him it is time to expand and that he chose Yahiko to go to America and do what he can to further the family power.
Yahiko was doing dealings with the infamous Giovanni family to help further family business. He mostly deals with Yuri Katagami Giovanni as he is one of the few other Sokkaiya Oyabuns left in New Bremen though now he is dealing with Yuri's Italian friends as well. He feels that dealing with them might bring in more money and power for both his family and clan. Now though Yuri seems to have pack up and left leaving Yahiko as seeming the only Oyabun left in New Bremen. This suits him just fine as he can tighten his grip on Little Nam and the Sokkaiya in New Bremen now that he has no rivals which to compete with. Since then he has formed the Silver Ring Federation and has since expanded his power all over the U.S. using Little Nam as his home base.
One thing that was always a great frustration on Yahiko was how open the Lake Court was. Yahiko was born fed with the anti-American propaganda and the idea of trusting the Sunsets was set away from his mind. He was a typical hot-headed Fist when it came to speaking his mind in his first days in New Bremen. He was constantly speaking ill of the Sunsets and refused to speak to them when they would come to the lake. Though when the Sunsets decided to attack and rape the Nest then the survivors decided to take up Yahiko's way of thinking for the most part.
Now that the Lake Nest fell to the barbarians Yahiko has much enjoyed the change. His propaganda has proven itself and Yahiko was the victor of all his arguments. The other Hengeyokai have been forced into Little Nam the place Yahiko has been from the start giving him a bit more free reign. Also he has since taken up the Mantle of of General of the courts as well as Daimyo of the Hakken under his banner. The change in the times have been most kind to Yahiko.
Yahiko was given his family's Katana known as Shuuken Hasaki which means "Power of of Blade's Edge". He also carries his family's kodachi called Kyousei Sumiyaka Ken which means "Great Speed Blade". Most people find it odd that his family carries the Kodachi instead of the standard wakazashi. The Yomoto clan has high value on weapons and see the Kodachi as one of the finer weapons.
