| Poliwrath Rating 3.5/5 This card is pretty good for several reasons, one its weakness is grass making it a good water Pokemon, and two it can be used for mega removal for only 3 energy! A bad part about this card is that its a stage 2 and its evolutions are pretty bad. In a mainly Poli-deck this card combined with the Neo Discovery Fighting Poliwrath can stomp most pokemon and you can still stick to a blackout theme of removals and good attack power! |
| Raichu Rating 2/5 This card is almsot no good. Its an evolution, its attacks take too much energy to be any good and it has a weakness to fighting. There is no reason for you to use this card when you can be using Dark Raichu, or a better, but still a pretty bad card, Zapdos from Base Set. |
| Venusaur Rating 4/5 What a card! It has a lot of awsome combos, high HP and an awsome attack. Its Pokemon Power is one of the best in the Pokemon TCG. In a deck with mostly grass energy you can put all your grass energy on an undamaged Pokemon, use Pokemon Center to heal all your damged Pokemon and put all the Energy back into place! You can also use Meganium's Pokemon Power, Wild Growth to do 60 Damage for 2 energy on the second turn! |
| Zapdos Rating 2.5/5 This is just an upgraded version of Raichu. Its really bad because you can't attack with it until turn 4, and even then both of its attacks have a downside. Want to use a Zapdos, use Rocket's Zapdos of gym challenge! |
