| Trepidation | ||||
| Butterflies attack, Scalp prickles. Breath shudders, Tension mounts. Mouth dry, Bites lip. Chest heaves, Hair stands on end. Restrained sweaty hands Make fists. Muscles tremble and shiver. Trepidation. |

| Who am I? | ||||
| All this time you thought you knew your entire life was mapped But you ran aground on a reef of sorrow Back to reality you were slapped. The ship you steered was full of holes, And it sank without a trace "Who am I?" you screamed at the sky And longed for an embrace. Time alone is what it takes To find yourself again That and others that know the score Can help you with this pain. So alone you sit and scour the net For something to catch your eye This is it! you've found yourself! The voice screamed back from the sky. you return and return, again and again Surely this can't be true But what's inside you can't ignore This really IS for you your skin it prickles as you read Of O/others and T/their lives you look in the mirror and you know it's true you can see it in your eyes The dreams you dream at night and day Wake you in a sweat My god whats coming over me you ask but all you get Is a need to quench a mighty desire To follow along this path To dream some more of what you want While you lay back in the bath. |
