
Dr. Stephen Sroka is an internationally recognized speaker, trainer, author, teacher and educational consultant on sex, drugs and violence education. Currently, he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor, School of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University and President of Health Education Consultants. Prior to this, Dr. Sroka worked in the Cleveland Public Schools for 30 years as a teacher and, also, as a member of the Crisis Response Team. Dr. Sroka has also been the recipient of the Outstanding School Health Educator Award from the American School Health Association, Walt Disney Outstanding Health Teacher of the Year, Inductee of the National Teachers Hall of Fame, and is the author of an Educator�s Guide to HIV/AIDS and Other STD�s. Dr. Sroka integrates cutting-edge research, humor and inspiring real-life stories to facilitate learning about student�s mental, emotional, social and physical health needs and issues.

Since starting his comedy career over a decade ago, this young veteran has gone on to television appearances on The Comedy Network�s �Comedy at Club 54� and Global�s �Comedy on Stage�. In 1998, he was featured in his own 30-minute episode of CBC�s �COMICS!�
CBC news viewers recognize Dean from his award winning satirical commentaries on shows like �Canada Now� and �Saturday Report�. He is heard every Friday morning on CBC Manitoba�s �Information Radio� as �The Headliner,� singing an original comedy song from the week�s headlines.
Dean has also appeared at The Winnipeg Folk Festival as a main stage host since 1999. His 1998 play �How Do You Know When You�re Done� along with Al Rae was named among the Top Ten at the Winnipeg Fringe Festival.
