I grew up with music cuz my dad was into it. He loved to listen and play Elvis Presley's songs that I familiarized my self when I was 9 years old then, and guess what, it's still jammed in my dome. In fact, I would sing one in videoke bars if I’m kinna bent already, "Can't help falllin' in love" is what I usually sing.
Anyway, my dad
left me out with something that would never be taken away from me, and that is
being a guitar man. I guess it goes in our blood for my two sisters also play
the guitar. We could actually be the ‘Corrs’ if we wanted too – a family of
musicians. I started playin' the instrument when I was 11 years old, and my
first song was "Horse with no Name" cuz this song has only two major chords that
even a sucka-fu chicken-head guitar player could get it. I aint slowin' my roll
down playin' the guitara cuz this skill has helped me to mack on some poon-tang.
Since I learned my first song, all sort of music just flowed down my system
instantly. I've been listenin' to some pop, jazz, folk music, rock, classical,
and love songs, and if certain songs entertained my emotion, I would play along
with it.
In high school, I got hooked up with some new wave music, but when I got into
college, all music has been laid down and I became what I am right now - a
rocker! Yes, I am a Metallica and Dream Theater freak. Kirk Hammett and John
Petrucci are my icons. I listened to whatever rock music can offer me, from
classic rock to modern rock. This rock music has pushed me more in hittin' my
guitar with different licks and riffs I learned. In fact, rock music also has
taught me more on how to appreciate the harmony of one's melodious creation. So
definitely, I’m still pleased with all kinds of music.
Right now, I’m enjoying myself jammin with anyone else with whatever music they
play, as long it’s not cheesy.
I really would like my robe to be fitted in the music industry, but it seems that I’m in a different world right now; it will remain like this. But if opportunity comes, why not take it?
Shit! I almost forgot, just don't shove the boy bands down my throat. They are a bunch of fags who just swing on each other and like to ram each other on the back door.
