"I'm so sorry, Mrs. Witter. I just can't get them to open the door and Tim is so protective of Taylor." Megan explains to Andie the second they walk in the door.

Pacey opens a kitchen cabinet and takes a key off a hook. He hands it to Joey and she runs up the stairs, ready to unlock the bathroom door. Dawson starts to follow her, but Andie hold him back. "Just let her go." Andie tells him.

Joey runs down the hall into Tim's room and into the adjoining bathroom. She slips the key into the lock and opens the door. Taylor was sitting on the floor hysterically crying and Tim was hugging him. Joey wished she had a camera. Taylor looked up and saw her and instantly ran into her arms. She carried him into her room and held him as he sobbed.

Andie gives Megan a healthy salary for the night and Pacey drives her home. "I better go up and make sure Tim is okay." Andie says.

"Wait, Andie." Dawson stands up to stop her. "Andie, you and Pacey are our best friends, and I just wanted to say thank you. I know I'll always look back on this Christmas, not just because it was Joey's last, but because it was the best. I watch helplessly as Joey dies away, and I realized that pieces of me are dying with her. Being here, brings it all back." Dawson tells her, upset. "I uh...I just wanted to say, thank you for being here for us."

Andie smiles and they embrace. "Thanks for letting me."

"Tim?" Andie calls walking into her son's room. She walks into the connecting bathroom. "Tim?" She finds him huddled on the bathroom floor. "Sweetheart what's wrong?" She asks scooping him up.

"Taylor." He tells her.

Andie is touched at her son's thoughtfulness. "Oh, baby, Taylor will be okay." Andie says tucking Tim in his bed. "Daddy and I and Uncle Dawson will take care of Taylor." She strokes his forehead. "Tim, remember we talked about this before? Taylor will always have Aunt Joey as his mom, even though she won't be here with him, she'll always be with him, watching him, protecting him, looking over him."

"When Aunt Joey's an angel, will she protect me too?" Tim asks her.

Andie's face breaks into a huge smile. "Of course she will."

"Mom?" Tim asks her, looking worried. "Are you going to get sick like Aunt Joey?"

Andie's unsure of how to handle this question. "I don't think so, honey. Maybe when I'm very old. Everyone dies eventually, Tim. One day I will and Daddy will and Taylor will, one day you will. Everyone has a time to die and this is Aunt Joey's." Andie explains.

"Mom, can you stay here with me?" He asks her. "Until I fall asleep?"

Andie nods. "Of course." She tells him.

Dawson walks into his room and sees Joey taking a pill. "My legs are killing me." She tells him climbing into their bed.

Dawson starts taking his jacket and tie off. "Jo, I was thinking. Um, about after." He tells her.

"Oh?" Joey asks propping herself up in bed with pillows.

"I think...the thing is I don't want Taylor to be deprived, in any way. With my parents living in Florida and Bessie and Bodie in Capeside, we don't really have any family in Connecticut. And, I.. I think it would be good for Taylor, and for me, to move up here, to Rhode Island. Pacey and Andie would be a big help for Taylor, and also for me, and it would be great for Taylor to be near Tim. And we'd still be near Bessie and Bodie, probably closer." Dawson tells her. He sits down on the bed next to her. "Joey, right now, I just can't imagine my life without you, and the thought of trying to cook in the kitchen that used to be our kitchen, sleeping in the room, the bed that used to be our bed, I can't do it."

Joey nods. "I think it's good idea. I don't want you and Taylor isolated in Connecticut, I want you to do what you think is best for you and Taylor. Whether it's here or Capeside or both."

"I am so glad to hear you say that." Dawson tells her. When you're not with us anymore, I want to know you'd approve of what I was doing."

"Dawson," Joey tells him. "I'll always be with you."
