"Why don't the two of you go put your pajamas on?" Andie asks them. "Otherwise Megan will have to do it, because we have to get dressed to go out to dinner."

"Mommy, I don't want you to go." Taylor says crawling into Joey's lap. Joey grimaces in pain. "I don't want you to go out." He says, on the verge of tears.

"Sweetie, Uncle Pacey and Aunt Andie and Daddy are all going out. We'll be back. We always come back, right?" Joey asks him.

"Yeah." Taylor admits, sulking.

"We're back!" Pacey calls walking in through the garage door.

"Daddy!" Tim calls running over to Pacey. "Hey buddy." Pacey picks him up. He walks over and gives Andie a kiss on the cheek.

"Hi." Dawson walks in behind him. He kisses Joey on the cheek. "You okay?"

"Yep." Joey forces a smile. "How was the game?"

Dawson looks at Pacey and smiles. "It was one of the most memorable games I've been to." He says, meaning it.

"Yeah," Pacey agrees. "It was a great game. I'm glad we went."

"Good." Andie smiles cheerfully. "Pacey, we have to get ready, can you get the boys into their pajamas?"

"Sure, come on guys." Pacey says motioning for them to follow him upstairs.

"No!!" Taylor screams wrapping his arms around Joey's neck. "I don't want you to go! I don't want you to go out tonight!!" He cries.

"Taylor." Dawson reprimands sternly.

Taylor bursts into tears. "You two go ahead, Taylor will be up in a minute." Joey tells Pacey and Tim. "Taylor stop this right now."

"Don't go!" He cries.

"Dawson, please talk to him, I have to get ready." Joey says. She starts to stand up, attempting to lift him off her lap, but can't. "I can't lift him."

Dawson has to tear Taylor away from Joey. After a minute she musters up the strength to stand up and she and Andie go upstairs.

"Taylor, listen to me." Dawson says, sitting down at the kitchen table with Taylor on his lap. "We're going out tonight, but we'll be back. We always come back, we always will." He tells his son, but then realizes things might not always turn out that way. "Taylor, sometimes it's just going to be you and me." Dawson explains, his throat closing up. "Just the two of us. It'll be okay. We'll be okay with out mommy."

Taylor gradually stops crying as Dawson holds him. He looks up at Dawson. "Will mommy be okay with out us?"
