| Science Safety | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| When you are in the lab or classroom you should always follow directions. Never goof off and fool around because that could lead to dangerous things like fires and chemical spills. Don't touch anything on the lab table until you are told. Don't drink, eat, or chew gum around the lad station. Don't do anything like do any other experiments or mix other chemicals unless told. Tell the teacher when something spills or breaks. Wash your hands after every experiment. Science is when 6 of the CONPTT characteristics are invovled or can work. For example a chicken can lay eggs, it can be observed measured and all that stuff over and over again and get the same answer everytime. Pseudoscience is when 3-5 of the CONPTT characteristics are invovled. For example maybe a UFO. Non-science is when only 0-2 characteristics are used. Maybe like Batboy or Flying Babies. |
