| They've killed rap! (Not Pac... He kicks ass) |

| Ah, rap music. I used to like it, that was before the "Bling bling" age occured. Now, I can remember hearing some "ol skool" music and liking it. There was a feeling of rebellion in the lyrics, a hint of something worthwhile. Now, I want to kill myself watching BET. I'm serious, never again do I want to hear about "dropping it like its hot" or see a bunch of black men throwing hundred dollar bills and women wearing nothing but a bra and panties dancing around at a barbeque. That is NOT overexagerating either, watch a rap music video and you will see. Then, this 50 Cent character, he just makes matters worse. I don't care if your ass is in a club, write a decent rhyme or shut the hell up. Seriously, everytime I turn on the radio its worse. Then cars getting involved, its assholes with cars that piss me off almost as much. Back to rap though, now it is all about sex, making women objects, money, cars, and of course sipping 40's! First off, onto how they treat women. That really pisses me off. It is like all they see women as is sex objects waiting to get slapped and take their bra's off for a dollar. Rap needs to either get back to its roots of speaking out against problems, or just stop. Because when they aren't talking about how many women have sucked their dicks, they are talking about how much money they have. If its not money, its cars. And its become an endless cycle of crap. | |||||||||||||
