This was a journey that will not soon be forgotten. After reading an article in the Houston Chronicle Travel section, I thought to myself, I have got to do this trip. The article was about a guy who traveled throughout Mexico visiting the colonial cities in the interior. He began in Mexico City, rented a car, (yikes!) and drove eight hundred miles, in a round about fashion, to Puerto Vallarta. "Hey we can do this," I said. So our challenge was... Visit seven cities in eight days and live to tell about it. This is proof that it can be done. |
