This project was to replace the stock bumber on my traxxas stampede rc truck. The stock bumber needed to be replaced because it is made of a weaker composite plastic. Iam making the replacement bumper out of 3/16 steel rod and 1/8 steel sheet . first i bent the steel rod to the right shape.Next i cut the piece of 1/8 steel and brazed the two pieces togther.Below are pictures documenting the building process. |
