What I don’t understand
is that if we
came from god, and we
will go back to
god, and where god is,
is heaven, a
utopia of eternal bliss,
why would god
bother with earth?
To weed out the weak
people so they can go
to hell? Wouldn’t
that be a devilish god?
OK, so some
people and christians
[not that
christians aren't people]
don’t even
believe in hell.
They believe that
earth is hell and everyone
goes directly to god after this life
on earth. So if
god is eternal, and we will always return to him,
and in the big picture,
our lives are so very insignificant, why
bother? All this
pain, hate, turmoil for what? What’s wrong with
just existing in heaven?
I’m sure god is powerful enough to
create us in heaven
and leave us there in bliss. Doesn’t s/he
write the rules?
Are there even any rules? [the wonderful
‘mystery of god’ answer
will not suffice if anyone is going to
answer this question].
