Hi � it�s Radar here brining news.
Remember that girl I met coming back from R&R that last time and was dating? Well we�re not dating anymore�guess why? We�re getting married! I�m so nervous and excited and happy and I love her more than anything. The Wedding�s in August, maybe the war will be over so you can all come. I spoke to Peg Hunnicutt on the phone the other day. Seems she had to get a job. I hope BJ�s okay cause I know he doesn�t want her to work cause wants to look after her and stuff. Peg knows it to, but like she said what else could she do? Ma�s doing good too. Her jams won second prize at our Spring Fair. Our neighbour Mrs Gelding won first, but she�s older than Ma and has been making jams for longer. Thanks again for sending Park Sung. He�s a great kid and has helped the farm a lot. It�s still not as good as it was, but it�ll get better. We still have food for the animals so they�re okay, but only the corn is growing and not real good either. I�m not sure why � I was always more interested in the animals. Now that I�m home I�ve been thinking about what I want to do � like in a job. Patti thinks I should be a veterinarien (is that how you spell it?) She jokes that I�m already halfway there (being a veteran!) and that sounds like a really good thing to do. I mean I like animals and I don�t faint from blood and stuff anymore�plus I want to do some good somehow.
We heard that the peace talks were going good and the war was going to be over soon. That means a lot more wounded. It�s probably a bunch of bananas tho. But cha never know! How are my animals doing too? Gee I wish I coulda taken them home with me. I really miss you guys � Even the Majors. I know Major Winchester is mean, but he�s probably a nice person (way deep down). And Although Major Houlihan scared me at times I know she�s a good person � Even tho she�s in the army! (No offence Colonel) I sure would like to hear from you all. I know you get a lot of wounded so I�ll know why if the reply takes a while. I really do miss you all and I hope you can all come home real soon Colonel.
