| Nas's sophmore attempt It Was Written came out in 1996 with a huge hit single called If I Ruled The World featuring the talented Lauryn Hill however unlike it's predessor Illmatic, It Was Written unfortunetly would not be as huge a hit with the critics opening to few positive reviews and many mixed or negative ones. However this didn't seem to effect the public's opinion of it for it sold at the masses and ended up going multi platinum. | ||||||||
